Once the song is written it’s part of the universe and belongs to us all.

Country music is loaded with beautiful women with beautiful voices but this one is near the top with both.

This is an excellent rendition of this wonderful song - Lorrie really does the song justice, and with the Beach Boys in the background it doesn't get much better than this. Just outstanding.

For some reason I have watched this about 15 times today. She is absolutely stunning in this.

Just a terrific duet ...Lori kills it..And the Lords of Harmony are always legendary...

The voices and vocal techniques available was limited by the recording technology at the time. People can sing the same nowadays, it's just that people prefer not to limit themselves with antiquated recording techniques. Frank Sinatra sounds like shit without his 1940s microphone, the microphone is what gives his voice that quality.

L M - Lorrie Morgan is a Country singer. She was among the top artists who were a part of the 1985 "Hot Country" movement when, to my ears, Country became a perfect blend of Country, Pop, and R&B. It attracted many new fans like myself who weren't crazy about Country & Western. It's also the era that brought Country Line Dancing into popularity. Hot Country continued into the early 2000's. I loved it then and still do. I'm proud to say that Lorrie Morgan is still among my favorite artists. I have every one of her CDs and love them all!

This is SO GREAT! It's very very hard to cover a Beach Boys song and not have it come off sounding, "Meh... the original was better". But she does a superb job! I also love the little shtick where she counts off the song and breaks into that huge smile at the beginning when the Beach Boys start the intro/backing vocals. It's as though she's thinking what we're thinking, "Oh my God... They are so good. I am so lucky to be singing this with them!"

I truly believe Lorrie Morgan and The Beach Boys could have teamed up to sing the telephone book and it would have been wonderful...God, I love this song... this music...this magic

Billy Joel (?) has also done a cover and it is in some movie. A 15-16 -year old girl was watching it with his dad. The young girl was totally astonished as she heard excellent music, which was on a much higher level than today´s so called "music". How and who did such a great song, she had to ask her dad. -- Happens often. A 11-year old kid was asked what is her favorite BB-song. -409.

Lorrie has been through a lot of ups and downs in her life, but somehow she seems to come back up on top. Not only is Lorrie a friend but a colleague in the music business. I played in a band with Mike Chamberlain (Lorrie's one time road manager} and his cousin Carson Chamberlain who played steel guitar for Keith Whitley, later became A&R Director for Mercury Records and also co-wrote a # 1 Hit for Mark Wills "Wish You Were Here".
