    5:50 Ahh when one of your units does a spectacular charge across the battlefield, crashing into the enemy to potentially make the decisive move of the battle …. Only to then stand still and do absolutely nothing when face to face with the enemy, not even swing a sword.

    The common reckoning is the system of numbering the years initially used by the Skeldings and which was later adopted by many of the peoples of Halfland. Year 1 of the common reckoning is the year that Skeld the Stormblown and his 50 ships landed at the mouth of the Silverstream. See the video "The Waters Rise" for more details.

    I think the halfling victories have more to do with tactics and luck than halflings being intrinsically overpowered. The rules do apply explicit penalties to halflings, especially in melee combat.
