The Battle of Paperwhites! Kindle Paperwhite 3 vs Paperwhite 4

Wanted to help for those who are looking to upgrade their 3rd generation Paperwhite to the 4th generation. I am going through on the topics what was the biggest question for me before the purchase:
- Screen quality
- Usability differences
- GLARE?
- Water resistance
- Inverted screen

Perhaps the best review ever. Watched it four times... Not only for information... But also for the way it is shot. Keep up.
I upgraded to the 4 from the 3 two years ago. Not a fan of the 4. I used both but the 4 has already stopped charging and my 3 is still going strong. If you dont read your kindle in the pool or bath there's no need for it to be waterproof. Its made zero difference for me. The screen on the 4 is not as crisp either. Maybe I am in the minority but I feel like older Kindles are better. The Voyage from 2014 is probably the best kindle has made and they did away with that one. I say skip the paperwhite 4 and buy a Voyage used or keep your 3.

Does the glare in the 10th generation bothers in actual reading!?
I have pw3 and upgraded to pw4. Pw3 has better contrast for me on zero brightness compared to 4. Reading at night even on low brightness pw3 is good compared to 4 regardless of dark mode. And it feels like reading a book on a paper more on 3. Well, I love pw4 but 3 has a big impact. Sadly, I sold it to my friend. So i just need to get used to pw4. Compared with size and weight, PW4 is much smaller and light weight which I love too. I just need to play around with pw4 brightness just to suit what’s best for me. Overall, Kindle Paperwhite is love and I’m happy to have it 🥰
Screen light does not work in pw3 how to fix it???
I never used a kindle...is the 4th edition really worth it or should i grab the paperwhite 3 since its cheaper

The paper white 4 has the inverted color mode and water resistance while the paper white 3 doesn’t. But the screen is sharper and higher res on the paper white 3. I would go for the 4 if you mainly want to read just text books. Go with the 3 if you want to read comics or manga,
The size is not the same.
