Hi Bob and Jenny and pups, a really interesting video with lots of information, I felt like I was walking into the war. Loved the music in the background added to the atmosphere. Poppy enjoying the exploring. The town was nice and coffee shop in a nice position to view the abbey, Brilliant x

I really enjoyed your video. I have been to Battle many times, but only looked at the Abbey from outside. I went to a museum opposite called Yesterday’s World I think, rooms with lots of old equipment, like sewing machines, old phones and all set in different rooms. Shops from forties and old dolls etc. It was a good day out there. There are 59 pictures of the inside on trip advisor.

Unfortunately Buckley’s Yesterday’s World closed down several years ago. Such a shame as it was really interesting, not to mention like a tardis inside.

I really hope you enjoyed this place as much as I did when I went years ago. It's such a welcoming place. And the museum on the opposite side of the road was interesting aswell. Xx stay safe xx

Museum closed down several years ago, unfortunately.

Apparently my ancestors fought in the battle of Hastings for William the conquerer, the name is on the battle abbey roll, i wish i had more information on who he was and what he did exactly. Its said he was rewarded with land in Staffordshire which is where i have traced my family back to.

We're not the best people to be asking about Outdoor clothing, we don't go climbing mountains or walking miles. We just have a couple of light Berghaus Jackets.

Used 2 are living the dream you go all over the UK , in your motorhome . 🇬🇧 Oh " and Poppy . I know I've seen this before I've seen this a few times
