The Lord of the Rings The Battle for Middle-earth II Good Campaign Hard Longplay Full Walkthrough No Commentary. Completed all Bonus Objectives as well. In Battle for Middle earth 2's good campaign you play as the Elves and Dwarves, and journey from rivendell to mirkwood, battling Sauron's forces in the north. This was played on Hard Difficulty which wasn't too bad and is a good and fun challenge. The elf faction is one of the hardest to play competitively because they have a rough time with resources. But I love their archers those silverthorn arrows are amazing and op on patch 1.00. The have a really good roster of heroes to pick from. They are still one of my favorite factions probably my 3rd. The Dwarves are my favorite faction, they are so tanky and I love how they can pop into mines and flank enemies. My favorite Good hero is gimli is berserk is awesome. But the heroes you get to play in this campaign Glorfindel and Gloin have good voice actors and are all around pretty good.
Lotr Bfme 2 is my favorite RTS game. It is just so much fun, from the 6 different classes to play elves, dwarves, men, mordor, isengard, and goblins. To the great soundtrack, and above all is the gameplay itself it is so well done. For example you can literally trample swordsman with horses (just like the movies). And as the elves you can upgrade your arrows to send enemies flying back. The heroes have special powers and are more powerful and fun to use then your normal troops. Another fun thing is using drogoth or the fell beast (nazul) to crush and pick up troops. This is in my top 10 favorite games of all time. I originally played it on the Xbox 360, great days those were. And eventually got a pc with the collectors edition. Overall solid game and cant recommend it enough if your a rts fan or lord of the rings fan. I really hope you enjoy this longplay of the good campaign.

i've played this game for years and years when i was younger and i swear to go, I never know trolls would turn in to stone by using the Sun power !
Very nostalgic indeed. I remember back in the day I thought those cutscenes were top of the line graphics-wise. Really showing their age now lol. Unsurprising of course, but still.

It was my favourite too. I was a great Gondor commander lol
God how much time ive sank into this game... only recently got a friend to help me set it up on PC and add mods and its infinitely better.

Me too man over the years I have put so many hours into multiplayer. Sometimes I can even beat brutal AI. But that's usually rare. There are some really good mods for bfme2. Plus an HD remake is in the works by the fans. And it looks promising.

Is game-speed tied to framerate, or is it processor speed? (Because I don't remember the character movement in this game being so spastic...)
Evil factions' special powers: Balrogs, Demons of the Ancient World, Dragons, armored furnaces with wings, literal volcanic eruptions and basically comet strikes. Good factions' special powers: "AN' HIS BOOTS ARE YELLOOOO'!"
I still have trouble trynna find this game for PC I loved this game with a passion just like the third age and the two towers

Dude, crossing the shallows without waiting for wyrms to show up is a huge mistake. AFAIK, the wyrms are temporary summons and will be gone when they are expired. You could have attacked with bigger force and end the battle quickly.
I'm certain I heard a few Skyrim voice actors in there. The mail carrier and male high elf.
Where can i download this game? I miss playing this game so much.
Patch 1.09? Isn't that the fan-made patch that overrides the anti-piracy insta-kill mechanism?

It's too bad you can't build buildings nice and snug against cliffs, such as Dwarf mines.
