We removed our shower doors in our walk-in shower and installed a rod and crystal clear shower curtain with extra weight stones along bottom of curtain to keep it weighted down and not fly around. We love the crystal see-thru; it gives our small bathroom a larger appearance, no more doors to scrub and deal with getting in and out the shower! And no more doors coming off their tracks either.

Thank you. Good ideas and points. NOTE: crystal clear shower curtains look nice too and give the room a much bigger appearance like glass shower doors. Must keep ultra clean to retain that crystal clear look, easy to do, can put in washing machine and are so inexpensive if you want can buy a new one every 3-6 months.

I’m in the process of changing out my tub combo for a walk in shower, and will be using a curtain. I have a friend who passed out in a shower and fell into the glade on the floor, bad mess.

soupscum magnets...why you didn't mention that... I own a cleaning business.

My bathroom with a toilet and cupboard is really damn small. But these doors are $500+. Thats 500 reasons to just go with a curtain. Also my current old shower with an ugly insert has a glass door im constantly banging into showering.

I can't stand shower curtains. They're cheap, and they look it. All of our bathrooms have shower doors.
