Thanks for the great comparison review. I am now more excited to give them a try myself. I certainly have had troubles getting my hands on these towels. But today I called my local store and asked them to check out back before making the trip and leaving empty-handed again. this time they had just got a shipment in stock. I was able to drive right over and grab a few pack for my self. Can’t wait to put them through their faces. Thanks again for your time and input.

Enjoyed the video.. I picked up the Grants drying towels a few years ago.. They now have an updated version of the drying towels, I understand it’s much better than the original. I have the grants glass towels and they work well for me.. I did see that the price on these towels has jumped to $8.99 still a good value.. Harbor Freight has good prices on other decent detailing products as well...stay safe...

These are my go to towels now. When they first came out I picked them up. Harbor freights usually doesnt have them on the shelves you have to ask them to go out back and get them. Love that I can get them locally and you cant beat the price!

Great video wish we had hf stores in 🇨🇦 Kirkland are an ok towel I have used them for years and yes even on black paint but the price is going up every time I visit Costco. $26.99 getting up there. Cheers Eric.

I hope they improved, I got the 12x12 plush version 5 years ago, seemed ok but after 3 -4 washes, they got thin and lost their plushness

@dossegundos7145 I can't say how much they improved BUT. I'll be sure to do a followup ! They seem very nice so far. Will be putting them to the test tomorrow!

I have had these for over a month now. Washed them right away and experienced ZERO color transfer. Picked up several more packs a week or so back @ 30% OFF as well.

I grabbed a couple packs of the grants a few weeks ago. I like them a lot. They just feel better than the Kirkland's. I tend to use them on the paint more than the Kirkland's.

Yoooo, I’ve trained George Kittle when he was rehabbing his ankle in November 2020. Then in April 2021 I actually went to his home (Nashville) to install/training for a 55k exercise machine called ‘Vasper’, he purchased it after using it at our training facility (Moffett Field). He was getting a classic mustang and I told him I’d be down to detail it, never knew if he got it or not Kittle is the homie, what you see on TV is how he is in real life, no filter, happy go luck, super friendly, we just talk about shoes and there’s no intimidation with him.

Kirkland's are usable on many car paints that are clear, not that much on darker colors and no no on black😜 unfortunately we don't have Harbor Freight in Puerto Rico so have to continue with Kirkland's 😜

I picked up a whole lot of Kirkland from Harbor freight. they were about $4.30 at the time I picked up about 10 packs that was a good deal right now at Harbor freight I see them going for 799 a pack as of today

Nice video Papa, the only ones that would call you a hack, are the prepubescent, Maroons living in mommy's basement. People who don't detail for a living or as just a side hustle have no clue. Harbor Freight also has two different packages of microfibers. Blue and orange color 16"x16" tag less and edge less. I'm using these for my general purpose towels and eliminating the Kirkland towels. The purple and lime green ones are much better and I'm using them for my rinseless wash.

Basic microfibers have their place. Higher tier of what you are doing course you will use good towels. Maybe can test a new line I'm working on with the basics 🤘😎

So the brand from HarborFreight over the winter they were going on sale for about $4.30. I picked up about 10 packs. . I just visited HarborFreight today and the regular price right now is eight dollars so I got them at a good price

Has anyone tried the 80/20 MF towels at Sam's Club? They have them in yellow, orange, blue and green. Pack of 36 was $15 and some change. They're edged and tagged, so they definitely do not come even close to the HF towels!

Kirklands will do just fine, but I’m over that yellow color. Been seeing them for the better half of a decade, left right and center, I’m just sick of that color. After excitedly using up fresh Kirklands, I started to use the MF towels that I’ve hoarded up back in……2018 🤣 I’m gonna cop some of those Grants. The misses is just gonna nod her head and say I’m weird, but aye she don’t know microfiber and detailing like we do.
