The Bass Fishing Study That Changed My Fishing Ways...

Спорт

This bass fishing study has changed where I look to target and catch bass. The two year bass telemetry study on Lake Fork and Toledo Bend has results that will change your outlook on bass behavior. I use this information for a Catch 15 challenge on a lake I have never been on...

    Man that looks so fun. I don’t like you telling everyone what is up on the flats… that is my bread and butter. 😂 the guys I fish with probably wouldn’t listen anyway. I got really into building wooden baits and made some bigger more subtle lipless baits to have something besides the swim baits to work the same type areas. Awesome video boss.

    What’s funny is he watched some study videos but still used a sonar device(nonfisherman equipment) to catch a fish...why study when you can cheat??

  • @TheFishingCoach

    Yeah just got drop the sonar in the lake and the fish jump right in the boat! I mentioned in the video how FFS makes it more efficient to find the fish. @@TheFishingCoach finding fish is part of fishing, but using sonar devices is not fishing. Probably never would have caught the fish without the device! Anyone using sonar devices is not a fisherman they are video game players! If you can’t spotlight deer why you allowed to spotlight game fish? Companies greed will always destroy this earth(cancer mites) because it’s always un-natural ways!! Keep studying, I believe 1 day u will learn to catch fish without devices!!!!

    That study doesn’t give the actual facts because you have to figure in the percentage of structure type. A lowland lake has much more flats than any other type of structure so it makes sense there will be more bass there.

  • @TheFishingCoach

    @TheFishingCoach

    Ай бұрын

    Well if you have ever kept up with a tournament at Sam Rayburn… go look at past results and history of the lake. You hear / read drains, drains, drains, and more drains for finishes in the top 10. so I would be interested to see this study done there.

  • @blind_eye_fishing
    @blind_eye_fishingАй бұрын

    None of that is new lol and none of that is always relative. Due to the fact conditions change and so does bass positions. Durung the spawn way more fish are bank and shallow relating than middle of the hot summer where they will be on flats and deeper drop offs. This info has been out there from studies thats decades old 😂. The difference is only those who took the time to read, be on the water learning and trying new things knew the info. Now social media is blowing up the lakes, spots and techniques. Question is, is sharing this information with millions of people good for the fisheries in the end.

  • @TheFishingCoach

    @TheFishingCoach

    There is more information then ever for the anglers. Anglers are also better then ever before because of information and time on earth. That is it though….. people in general are smarter, athletes are stronger and better then ever. Games and businesses adapt. Just like anglers will and also…. Nature does too.

  • @blind_eye_fishing

    @blind_eye_fishing

    @@TheFishingCoach actually in the grand scheme of things all that was also incorrect 😂. People are lazier and less intelligent due to electronics and cheat codes lol. But the info being pushed was found in the 1970s and 1980s. These researchers just did similar studies and confirmed what other intelligent, book reading and actual anglers on the water already knew 😂. Only new thing that's been found is deep water fish way off shore that all move with conditions to shallower waters and flats. They are on deep structure and suspend more than previously thought. That was found by sonar technology and even that's been out a few years now. The info was already there for the ones that wanted it and put in the work that made them stronger and smarter. Today's anglers in higher percentage only rely on social media to give them advice and never learn the full spectrum of angling (fishing). This makes them weaker of mind and skills. As far as athletes go you're far from the truth 😂. Take football for example not only was the athletes strong but tough. In today's sports they wear way more safety gear and have way more rules to keep them from even taking a truly hard hit 😂. Think back or go read on what was worn when football started, very little pads and a thin leather helmet but those guys where out there weekly smashing each others heads in trying to win a game. Today's athletes would cry like babies in those conditions 😂. Smh got to love the world of misleading and false information social media 😂😂🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️. But anyway have a good day and tight lines.
