This brings back memories when I was a teenager my uncle taught me the basis of silk screen printing. I haven't done it for 40 40 50 years but I was more less curious to see if it was automated or anything like that but he told me to how to make the screens and i used to draw the designs for signs and stuff then after I drew them we would we were both cut out the different stencils

I'm completely confused about the initial stage. So the area of the acetate negative is not exposed, but how does that leave the imprint of your design after everything has been washed off? I can't get my head around it.

The dark portion of the film positive prevents light from striking the emulsion so that's the part that sprays away with water. The UV light hardens the nnon-image area.

what that photo sensitive material thick gluey thingy? What is it? How do I look for it?
