#BarunSobti who has the hearts of millions with him bringing Arnav Singh Raizada to life, joins me for tête-à-tête on #CoffeeTimeWithGriha His new film #Halahal is out on Eros Now where he plays Inspector Yusuf Qureshi.
Barun talks about him taking the bold decision of getting out of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Dun at the peak of his stardom, for greater career goals. He feels he can’t do too much to talk about himself or project himself as an object of desire which is why he refrains from social media. And ofcourse there’s a coffee game that I play with Barun.
Halahal is a crime thriller inspired by true events that chronicle the journey of a father in the pursuit of the truth about his child's death shall numb you to the core.
An untimely death, a determined father, a scrupulous cop, and the relentless chase to find out the truth! Inspired by true events, the trailer of the movie gives viewers a crystal-clear idea of the power-packed performances by Sachin Khedekar who plays the role of a distraught & resolute guardian, and Barun Sobti who plays the part of a police officer aiding him in this dangerous search. Will Dr Sharma find out the mystery behind his daughter's death? Will they ever find the correct answers to all the questions that are tormenting the family?
Helmed by Randeep Jha & produced by Zeishan Quadri, Halahal with its excellent storyline is sure to keep the audiences hooked to their screens till the last minute.

It is always so wonderful to watch Barun. May it be in a Web series, on tv, in movies or in an interview as a matter of fact. I personally feel that he is one of the most genuine and sorted person as a whole. I've had the pleasure to talk to him on a video chat that was organised by #ChatforGood,fund raising program for the pandemic. It was awesome. That was the first and best celebrity encounter I ever had. We are living in a world where being on social media gives us a huge scope to accquire fans from all over the world. Inspite of not being on social media, barun has such a huge fan following, from kids to elder people. His persona and work is what has made him so famous and likeable. Bliss is what I feel watching him on screen. Thank you Griha for giving us such beautiful content. Will surely follow your channel. I'm sure all those who have watched interview had a huge smile throughout the video.

It's so true. I missed the chattforgood 😭. Am sure i will get an opportunity some time too. I think Barun may be one of the very few ones who has me a mother ( children of 2 adults) as a big fan of his. I also adore him as ge never forgets to mention his parents in the interviews.
