The Baroque Pinto Horse was created in the 1950s by crossing the Friesian horse with pinto warmblood horses. There are less than 200 of this breed in the United States and only a handful here in the South. We visited Story Brook Friensians and Baroque Pintos in Citra to show you this rare breed.

Beautiful pinto!
3:04 They r stunning horses! I have been close up with Thor, the Friesian stallion who was from Jokar farm around Bedford, PA. I fear he may have passed on by now, but he was just stunning, and gentle. I 💕 all horses. 🤗 💕 😊
People are favoring the draft crosses right now because of their versatility, temperament, and ability to carry heavier riders. Adding tbe Friesan provides some finenes, sparkle, and movement missing from the draft. They are beautiful and should be able to function well in many disciplines.
Pretty chunky looking, they shd have crossed a saddlebred with a pinto then u wd get a tall elegant fabulous moving horse with no shaggy ankles to shave constantly.

@Lauren Genetics don't always work like you hope they do. A foal may, *or may not* turn out as you'd hoped. That said--you do your thing and start your own breed.

@@bwenluck9812 thats true, i really also like the black type of appaloosa, where the predominant color is black, and it has irregular white spots or rivers of white, very exotic looking...and have you seen a husky crossed with a pom; the pomsky?or a husky blue eyed crossed with a schnauzer, very interesting!!
