Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
#busybfromgermany #nostalgia #diy #dollrepair #francie #childhoodtoys In this video we do a full makeover of Francie in the Barbie repair cafe. This Francie came in a bad shape to Busy B from Germany. A part of her hair is missing. The make up is incomplete. The head is yellowed. Can we fix all her problems in one video and make this Francie beautiful again?

Hi and welcome to my Barbie Channel. I'm a real Barbie girl and as a long time collector. I'd like to show you different aspects like how to do repairs for Barbies produced from 1959 until the 1990s and how to become a good Barbie doc yourself. So you can use my experience to do the repairs yourself and save money by the fact that you don't need another person to repair them for you.If you have any suggestions what to tape or a specific topic just let me know. I'm open for new ideas.

I was glad to find out about reducing the yellow face with teeth cleaning tabs. Well done, she looks beautiful.
Hi Busy B! Greetings from all your friends in Toronto Canada I love your site Could you perhaps show how to restore the flip on a 1960's vintage Midge Keep up the fantastic work!

Hello and welcome to my channel, Richard Swinbusk. Thanks for your comment. I could do that but I don't have a Midge that needs curls at the moment. I will put it on my list and see if I can find a suitable Midge somewhere.
Beautiful! Wunderschoen!

Thank you for your comment.
Brava, Busy B!!! Your artistic hands and mind brought this pretty Vintage Francie back to alive. A few months ago, I bought a very tlc Vintage Midge back to life. She had no brows, no lip paint, one whole eye and one-half eye. She's so lovely now. Unlike you, I'm an amateur vintage-Barbie-doll restorer (and doll collector, including various types of early-vintage Barbies), so I appreciate learning so much from you. I'm a newbie subscriber to your channel, and I'm enjoying every moment of binge watching!🤩👏🏾👏🏻👏🏿

Hello and welcome to my channel, Diana Thorpe. Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you like the video.
I think that I like the way you do re-rooting with a sewing needle taking the hair all the way through the head out the neck to be tied and knotted, then pulled back into the head. It's better than pouring glue into the head and hoping for the best, and having it leach out into the hair over time.!

@@BusyBfromGermany ....I've been learning so much from your videos. I went back to see your older videos, and your confidence level is rising. I can tell...You were so shy at the beginning, but now you are really confident and not afraid of the camera. Keep up the good job. PS-I loved your Francie Re-rooting videos especially. I am going to re-root my blonde Francie using your techniques. ...Lina

@linaanne3101 Thank you for your comments. I'm planning new Francie videos for the future. I'm still searching for a suitable head for another reroot. The body is here but the head is still missing.
She is just beautiful. I do have two questions… Have you ever tried retouching a doll’s eyebrows? Francie’s eyebrows look like they could use A little touch up. Also, have you ever tried adding blush to her cheeks? It’s fairly simple. I use fabric markers, because they aren’t permanent and are easier to blend in. What I do is I apply a small spot on each cheek and then blend it in using a Q-tip or small cotton ball. I go slowly and if I need to add a little more I do that. If I’ve put on too much, I can wipe it off with a Q-tip. It needs to be reapplied from time to time, but it’s easy to do.

Hello and welcome back to my channel, Psalm 37v4. Thanks for your comment. I tried to retouch the eyebrows but I was not satisfied with the result. I have an idea how to solve the problem but I'm still working on the solution. Whar kind of fabric markers do you use? I heard of different brands but I have only chalk at home for blush.
Good job🤩

Hello and welcome back to my channel, John Donaldson. Thanks for your comment. I was asked to do this by many of my viewers. Unfortunately I was not able to find another Talking Barbie worth to be repaired here in Europe in the last years. I got the one that I made the videos about already in an open condition.

It's so impressive! I have somd old toys like Kamar doll, so I wonder that the dental peel that you used to your old barbies would be good to kamar doll.

Hello and welcome to my channel, Jeanne Kim. Thanks for your comment. I think it could work when you can take off the head. It does not harm the doll neither the make up.

Hello and welcome to my channel, Jeanne Johnsen. Thanks for your comment. I was not able to find out which trademark the lip paint I used here is from. The seller does not offer it anymore. For all other colors you can't do anything wrong with Liquitex heavy body and for the lips I recommend the cadmium free colors from Liquitex. You can see it in this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/nGiuyaygqajffdY.html.

Hello and welcome back to my channel, Helmut. Thanks for your comment. I'm glad that I could teach you.
I have purchased a Dana Rockers ill have to reroot her. And i have a sun lovin that came from fabric with little hair so i will add her to make her full beauty, but ill drop the full body and head into the tablet, hope can make her look same color body and face, her arms got too orange with the time and her face too
My thrift store Francie is also yellow. I am going to try the denture tabs. What scissors did you use for her hair trim? They were curved, I believe.

Hi Lisa and welcome to my channel. Thanks for your comment. That's right. It's curved. It's a pair of scissors for embroidery. I've done a whole video about my scissors. You can watch it here kzread.info/dash/bejne/dayfvJNqk7WqZ9Y.html.
Where do you get those plastic caps to put on her head to tame the hair?
