As we continue with episode 2 of "The Connection", Cross River State, Nigeria's Bantus, it was here that the Bantus started their migration all across central, east, and southern Africa over a millennia ago.
Their migratory starting point was here in Nigeria, stretching across Cross River, Akwa Ibom, and Benue states. Nigeria has over 350 languages spoken by people living within proximity. How these languages diverge as proximity deepens tells a thousand stories and sheds light on the people's history like nothing else.
