As Ayodhya vasis they cried and pleaded for King Dasarath not to banish Rāma when He was to be the rightful successor, which seems in line with maryada, and yet they didn't support Rāma accepting Sita devi back after Her kidnapping, which does NOT seem to be in line with maryada.

What happiness hiseople had when entire kaurava army and half of army of pandavas killed in the war.their wives became widow and children became orphan.

Devotees in this Kaliyuga have been given the prema-purushottama incarnation, who is Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Previous to this Lord Kṛṣṇa was here as lila-purushottama. And before that Rāma appeared as Maryada-purushottama. And each year on Rama-Navami we get immersed in the Maryada-purushottama Sri Rāma, doing our penance of fasting in celebration and hearing katha of Rāma. (That's why I'm here at least.) And I want to know more about the quality of maryada. But I was criticized as being incompetent, so I beg forgiveness, however, if I can serve, I may have an opportunity to ask questions according to Bhagavad-Gita. (tad vidhi pranipatena, pari prashnena sevaya...) . My seva is japa and brhad-mrdunga propagation, so here are a couple questions. Was Sita not also in the maryada stance? Was She not also crossing the boundaries of maryada when for example She was determined to follow Rāma to the forest. (Dasharatha had only banished Rāma, not Sita, and also Rāma advised Sita not to come.) I have several more questions, but if I am not qualified to ask even one, I'll stop here. Just to add to that scenario is the purport to Srimad-bhagavatam 9.10.11 where moral injunction is described as " when one goes on a tour, one should not bring his wife." So to put myself on the chopping block, I must be thinking of the Lord and His consort as ordinary human beings. I question how both Sita & Rāma seem to be out of the realm of maryada (He takes Her, and She begs to be taken.)

I think you should directly read Sita-Rama samvada in Valmiki Ramayana. It is from Ayodhya Khanda Sarga 26-30

Hare Krishna, Sorry to tell but Krishna ruled mathura dwarka ...where there were never such sacrifices that leader has to cry or citizens has to cry. Prthu maharaj was great in leadership where both the parties were happy Many leaders are mentioned in scriptures where both the parties are happy. Hare Krishna.🙏

Hare Krishna. Its actually a very good question Mataji. Let me try to answer this as far as my ability. In Mathura and Dwarka, the leader did cry. Krishna never showed his true feelings to everyone. But the queens in Dwarka knew. He felt great separation from Vrindavan. You must be knowing about the appearance of Jagannatha. This form was a transformation in Vipralambha, when he heard mother Rohini narrating the situation of the residents of Vrindavan. The queens were curious to understand the glories of Vrajavasis including Gopis, because they could sense Krishna's grief. Who is this Radha or Lalita or Citra whose names he took while sleeping? He missed them greatly. The same can be said for Pandavas too. Their lives were filled with intense suffering. For the sake of dharma and Krishna they undertook immense hardships. I don't know much about Prithu Maharaj. But i am quite sure that its not always like that. Its not always suffering like Pandavas for leaders. But clearly the principle is that leaders have to sacrifice a lot for the well being of their followers. Hare Krishna. 🙏

Basically different leaders face different situations. in many situations it is possible both parties to be happy but in some situations it is not possible. it depends on situation to situations and depends on leadership styles.
