She continues to be brilliant. Her Mrs. Hudson in the most recent episode of 'Sherlock' - 'The Lying Detective' was hilarious, but still maintained the drama. I was lucky enough to see her on stage a few years ago in a double bill of Stoppard's 'The Real Inspector Hound' and Sheridan's 'The Critic'. A class act.

She also delivered the most stylish rebuke to an ill-informed question I've ever seen on a TV show. Ben Shepherd was interviewing her and Abbey Clancy, that year's 'Strictly' winner, on a morning magazine programme, and asked Ms. Stubbs if she would ever consider appearing on 'Strictly Come Dancing'. She tilted her head towards him and replied "As a judge. I danced professionally for 35 years.'
she’s adorably adorable - am reading Laurie R King’s Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes and now all I can see when I read about Mrs Hudson is Una’s cute smilie face - yep - am a 58 yr old heterosexual woman but I’m in love with Una Stubbs 😂🤣😂🤣

Despite being shouted at by Una Stubbs in a dream, I have always loved seeing her on our screens. I remember seeing her in B & W as Alf Garnett's long-suffering daughter, in the Cliff Richard films of the '60s, and of course as Aunt Sally in Worzel Gummidge. She has popped up in a number of British TV programmes since then, but I've always enjoyed watching her performances, whatever she's been in. Great song by the way, Don!

Actually it's NOT Sally Geeson....it's Amanda Barrie.....if you listen to the lyrics it isn't supposed to be Una.
