Hekimoglu Story:
Hekimoğlu is one of the first folk songs that come to mind when Ordu is mentioned. Different stories of Hekimoğlu, who is from Fatsa, are told from language to mouth in Ünye and Fatsa districts. According to some, he is known as a bandit, according to others as a good warrior on the side of the oppressed. According to some rumors, he did not live only in Ünye, Fatsa and Ordu. It is said that he was also between Tokat and Niksar and spent certain periods of his life here.
His real name is Hekimoğlu İbrahim. The main story of Hekimoğlu is based on the conflict with the Georgian Bey. Hekimoğlu loves a girl named Narin. Georgian Bey also has a conversation with Narin. Hekimoğlu comes from a poor family and lives with his mother. The whole story starts with the relationship between Narin and Hekimoğlu and turns into a completely different situation.
Hekimoğlu's Dwelling in the Mountains:
Hekimoğlu İbrahim continues to meet with Narin secretly. Hearing this news, Gürcü Bey follows Hekimoğlu. They will face and settle accounts with Hekimoğlu on the designated day and location. Although Hekimoğlu came to the agreed place alone, Gürcü Bey did not keep his word and came with a lot of his men. Hekimoğlu, whom they are trying to blockade, somehow escapes by piercing this circle.
After this date, his life begins to run away. Georgian Bey is extremely influential and has the power to influence everyone. He resorts to actions such as to get Hekimoğlu caught with slanders. Now, Hekimoğlu's home is mountains. Here he takes two of his uncles whom he loves and trusts with him.
Hekimoğlu gets stronger after climbing the mountains. His age is advancing, and that poor and naive İbrahim leaves his place to the mature and reckless Hekimoğlu. Along with him, other young people who have been wronged, take sides with him and gradually move towards becoming a gang. Hekimoğlu is known as someone who takes from the rich and gives to the poor, feeds the oppressed, and stands by the righteous.
His name is increasingly heard in the Central and Eastern Black Sea Region. There are people who are very afraid of him as well as those who love and respect him very much. Its unique dressing and mirrored martini, which is the subject of folk songs, is its most basic feature. With his brave and brave personality, he becomes the most basic symbol of the army.
Mirror Martin's Story:
While Hekimoğlu is fighting the gangs, he wants to see the whole area at the same time. He will be wary of anyone who comes near him and tries to shoot him from behind. He finds a solution to this issue by making a mirror martin. Mirror Martin, which he had his Mauser built, is his savior in combat. When he reflected the mirror to his opponent during the conflict, his eyes could not see clearly, which enabled him to defeat the other side. There are also many rumors about his death.
The most well-known of these rumors is that he was shot while on his horse as a result of the conflict he had with the Georgian Bey. He comes to Ordu on horseback, injured. He dies in a short time due to blood loss due to his wounds getting worse. His folk songs and stories remain as cultural heritage to the Ünye and Fatsa regions where he lived.
