Frecklewish was definitely not a saint in anyway but in some ways she is tragic, especially after she lost her brother, believed an awful lie from someone she actually trusted, died a gruesome death and not only was she sent to hell but she was pulled away from her brother entirely, the one she even grieved over for so long Frecklewish never deserved the dark forest and the Erin’s can suck it 😌

watching her get so close to starclan just to fall back at the last second was HEARTBREAKING 😭 incredible project, everyone has done incredible on this!

This is amazing but please can you explain it I get that it's freaking wish and that she's trapped in the dark Forest due to what it said on the wiki about that and the whole her Buckle that what is this map presenting and is there any way for her to actually reunite with her loved ones in starclan I personally think though and true can and she's actually in starclan I hope the book authors come to their senses

This was such an interesting concept, the snake being an actual part of mapleshade was so clever! I loved watching this map, the pacing was on point! I never got tired of what could happen next, each part was so beautiful and told their story so well, amazing job everyone!

It's such a cruel irony that Starclan put the kits in danger by sending an omen to Ravenwing, and then they decide to put Frecklewish in the dark forest for not wanting to save them 🤦‍♀ Great map!

At times I believe Ravenwing misinterpreted the sign because of their hatred of river clan I am sorry I think thunderclan was in the wrong so was riverclan!

I blame StarClan and Oakstar, but I think Ravenwing didn't deserve the Dark Forest because of misinterpreting the omen. He was young and it was a mistake. A GIANT mistake, yes, but still a mistake. On the other hand, Oakstar was irresponsible to send them out during the storm, and StarClan could've just... Not... Said... Anything, and Ravenwing wouldn't have had the CHANCE to misinterpret a sign as there would've been no sign to misinterpret.

I LOVE the designs of these kitty cats! Especially Frecklewish's! Mapleshade looks like a fine diabolical villainess with her snake marking coming to life! And Birchface looks like such a gentlemannn NICE

The authors saying she deserves the dark forest because SHE DIDN'T TRY TO DROWN HERSELF saving those kits is ABSURD. Like they sent Juniperclaw to the Dark Forest and he died saving Shadowsight and Violetshine. ABSURD. Absolutely ABSURD. 💯

The authors said Frecklewish was "careless with the lives of kits because she is angry, and she assumes that someone else will take the responsibility of trying to save them [...] Frecklewish's callow negligence toward three kits in danger, and her lack of remorse for their eventual death, means she belongs in the Dark Forest." (actual quote) It doesn't have anything to do with "her not trying to drown herself", it's the fact she broke the original warrior code (no warrior can neglect a kit in danger, even if that kit is from another clan) and later felt no remorse for it. (She also lied to Oakstar about the severity of the situation.)

I like how you made it so Frecklewish was on her way to StarClan but Mapleshade sent a snake and it dragged her to the Dark Forest. Interesting way for her to go there instead! Also great job!!

I don’t know anything about Warrior Cats because I never read any of the books, so I was watching this out of context. But I DO know that this was an awesome map, and it was sad that she was so close to heaven with her friend, but the antagonist forced her to remain in hell, and her friend is trapped in heaven unable to help her again.

An exceptional maproject!!!! Everyone did so well and presented such an intriguing and creative storyline with their talented skills!!! Always glad to see more Frecklewish content/MAPs too, bravo to all involved in this lovely project and to the awesome host!!! :3

Omg this is amazing! I love the concept. Hardly anyone shows how she felt after death or if they do, it's usually right after she's been sent to the DF rather than the in between. Also the designs are awesome. Frecklewish looks so elegant and sad while Mapleshade looks very conniving cruel.

I had lots of fun in this map! And everyone’s parts are absolutely fantastic!! Happy holidays and I hope all of y’all’s day is filled with happiness!!

The only way I will ever accept Freckle going to the DF is if Maple somehow managed to drag her there. That's it. I refuse to accept Starclan themselves sending her there when the more guilty parties in the deaths of the kits went to Starclan

In my opinion, Frecklewish didn’t deserve the dark forest, but she genuinely could have TRIED to save them, or at least called out to Mapleshade to tell her it was too dangerous. She was there and she shouldn’t have stood there and watched. In fact, the whole clan broke the warrior code. “No cat is to turn kits away no matter their origin”, they could have at the least escorted Mapleshade, to ensure the safety of the kits, to Riverclan or to the outskirts of the territory such as twoleg place. Or kept the kits and exiled Mapleshade, there were capable queens and cats who could have taken care of them and they wouldn’t have known of their father, sure that’s not the most IDEAL but it could have been better than the fate Oakstar bestowed upon them. Frecklewish did not deserve the dark forest, but she also didnt deserve the title of a good cat. And Ravenwing didn’t deserve the title of a good cat either. He could have just let it go. They were kits. Kits who did not deserve such a fate all because of the mistakes of their parents and clans. In a way, it really goes to show how truly cruel starclan is. Starclan is not full of saints, and the dark forest is not full of villainous cats. Everyone makes mistakes, it’s the level of said mistakes that you should be judged on. Starclan is corrupt and half the cats in the dark forest were misunderstood, framed, or coerced. In a way I feel like starclan was really never meant to be a group of saintly figures. Beautiful map though! I very much enjoyed the art work and the song, it was quite wonderful

This is now my headcanon for what actually happened! Mapleshade and the other DarkForest cats kept Frecklewish against her will in the DarkForest, and she can't escape to StarClan. Makes a lot more sense than what actually happened!

I'm so in love with this map, and I swear, I'm honored that I was allowed to join! This should go viral, I swear! Thank you so much Hydra for making the idea ❤❤❤

My analogy was that she only went to the Dark Forest for breaking rule #12 of the Warrior Code " No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan. " Now , I don't think she deserved the dark forest , but in a sense she did get the repricussions of her actions - just in a more extreme way than she should have . MapleShade killing her was the repricusssion enough , and by effect that's one of the reasons MapleShade went to the Dark Forest . But whether she was murdered or not , that does not justify her breaking the code . She did not deserve the Dark Forest , she really didn't - however , if she broke the warrior code for any reason , it's her own fault and whatever happened to her was a direct result of her not saving those kids . She is not as much at fault as Maple , Raven , Apple , Reed , and especially Oak - but she did play a part in her own death .

Her negative response turned the tides , her defense and forgiveness of AppleDusk is what put her in her position and why I think she has minor fault for what happened . AppleDusk did everything wrong and yet she stuck up for him , which that could always be undying love or the fact that she was gonna have his kits but it was obvious that AppleDusk was in the wrong and still chose to defend him instead of trying to help the half dead mother who'd just lost the kits she'd spent everyday with since birth .

@@monokuma_5540 Well it wasn't JUST the fact that she was going to have his kits , she did love him which did skew her view by a long shot . AppleDusk did almost the exact same thing to his clan that MapleShade did to her clan ( excluding raising the kits under a different father's name ) and the only reason escaped exile was Reed herself when he 100% deserved it . ( Not to mention he was probably cheating on her with Maple throughout the majority of their relationship in the first place . ) Reed has one hell of a loving heart towards AppleDusk to choose his side & forgive him , I can say that as much . She doesn't have to particularly be in the wrong , but nonetheless everyone played a role in MapleShade's slow descent . Reed included . She wasn't " justified " when killing any of the cats she did or trying to kill a certain cat . There's no justification for murder .

I mean. If Frecklewish deserves the Dark Forest, then Ravenwing DEFINITELY does, too. He acknowledges that he knows the kittens are going to suffer even before he tells the clan, then when he does, he stand right beside Oakstar as he uses the prophecy to demonize three innocent children and cast them out during a storm. (It’s even implied Raven himself said they’re a danger to him beforehand from the way Oak said it) He had every chance to speak up and help the kittens, but he used his position to push them out.

Holy shit, BEAUTIFUL designs in this one. You all really did an amazing job.

Thank you so so much to let me be a part of this. It was so much fun to see everyone's parts come together, and I'm so happy to have watched TBoF come together bit by bit, even as soon as I saw it in the original MAPathon! Let me just say, the designs for the characters are absolutely stunning!! They reflect the characters personalities so well. And I love how Maple shade has a snake on her shoulder! It's a small detail, though it really adds so much. As for the parts, Each and every one looks absolutely GORGEOUS! Complete with character animation and backgrounds, there's not one moment in this MAP where I'm bored. In fact, during the primere I was quite literally shaking. Everything is so smooth, and it flows so well!! Great job to all the participants. And you and Wine hosted this wonderfully!! It ran so smooth, and you guys are so kind ❤️ Thank you for putting this together! This is easily one of my most favorite MAPs. And I WILL watch it a hundred times at least.
