    Everyone bashing on them are ignorant because if they knew that Brian has a disorder which suffocates his vocal chords that hinders him to sing the way he use too, would understand why they sound the way they do because he was the main focus in the harmonies of these songs and plus AJs voice got very deep compared when he was in his twenties.

    TBH Brian should've sought treatment for his vocal dysphonia earlier. Then he would've at least recovered most of his vocal abilities.

  • @kategentry

    @kategentry

    5 жыл бұрын

    Woke Lady, I don't know what the circumstances are or were for Brian's disorder, and I don't think you do either. What he should have done is probably what he did do, but that's none of our business. I'm sure he never expected to have trouble with his voice when it happened. You can't judge him over being human.

  • @fucktrumpandbidenfucktheco9900

    @fucktrumpandbidenfucktheco9900

    5 жыл бұрын

    Simply Kate I’m in no way judging him. I just feel that he delayed treatment for his vocal condition until it got really bad, and the producers had started complaining to the other guys and wanting to know what was wrong with his voice. Have you seen that scene in their documentary where Nick lashed out at him for hiding his vocal problems from them? While i felt that Nick came on too harshly on Brian, Brian’s vocal issues had to be addressed promptly as his problems in his voice was affecting the band’s performances as well as their ability to record songs and put music out, especially as he’s one of the lead vocalists of the group, and Brian didn’t really go about it the right way by concealing his voice dysphonia from the rest of guys and delaying treatment.

  • @kategentry

    @kategentry

    5 жыл бұрын

    Woke Lady, I did see it, it's just been a while. Maybe he should have taken care of it sooner. That's something that he'll have to live with because it's his mistake. Unfortunately, the group has to deal with it too and accept his issues, but I think they have forgiven him. I don't think we should dwell on what he should and shouldn't have done. He's getting better so let's focus on that.

  • @fucktrumpandbidenfucktheco9900

    @fucktrumpandbidenfucktheco9900

    5 жыл бұрын

    Simply Kate I personally think that if Brian doesn’t stand a chance of recovering from his vocal issues at least 90%. he should be brave enough to leave the band and the other guys must be brave enough to let him go. They shouldn’t have to carry him. I mean, Kevin did leave the group for 6 years to pursue individual interests, and Howie has proven himself to be pretty competent with singing lead. And frankly speaking, my concerns regarding Brian go beyond his vocal issues; over the past couple of years, he’s been openly showing support for Trump. Although he’s nowhere as obnoxious as the typical Trumpian, nor has he gone full Kanye, his political views could potentially tarnish the group’s legacy. Of course, he’s entitled to his political views and his views don’t automatically make him a bad person but he needs to understand that since he’s part of a group, his opinions could have an impact on his bandmates, who’ve got nothing to do with them.

    They have so much passion. They have a level of talent and class that a lot of artists these days just don’t have that combination. It’s beautiful to see Brian singing. He’s been through so much with his vocal ability and the world needs to be open to accepting health conditions. If an artist is singing live that’s always a positive! Amazing performance.

  • @_birdie

    Exactly. I honestly was shocked they never used a singing track for him, and instead just went w his natural voice live. Not disappointed at all, but in today’s world you just kinda assume singers will lip synch (even WITHOUT massive vocal problems like Brian has). Good for them. And damn they sound incredible to this day.

    I honesty think Brian should take a good amount of time off to focus on therapy for his voice. He was their best singer for so long and it’s a bummer to not be able to hear that angelic voice again. Obviously he’ll never be the same seeing as vocal tension dysphonia has no cure.

    yknwhaat if u havent already. listen to brian sing "more than that" in dubai a few months ago. that was his real voice, and trust me it literally made me cry. yes, hes been going to therapy since before kevin came back and its almost been a decade. he woke up one morning and couldnt sing anymore. right after their "this is us" tour after that cruise he lost his voice. trust me he still had it during the "unbreakable" tour. during the "IAWLT" tour he still struggled as it came and went. if you havent watchd their BSBmovie he talks about his condition even how sad it was when his old teacher said it would be very painful bc of how his voice sounded 20yrs ago it could be destroyed, that look on brian's face broke me, bc it already happened. so now with their new album finally coming out, he still has his struggles but during his live "more than that and the call" i think are his best performances. and mayb QPGWMH (the one song he hates singing) and mayb we've got it goin' on as well. and ofc AIHTG he sounds average on. he can hit his high notes in his falsetto voice, but not as much as the low notes, where if you've noticed nick&howie have helped him and occasionally kevin&aj. yet with his speaking voice when singers read their lyrics instead of singing them, that baritone sound he used to do, he cant anymore. unless he does his leg-up move where ykw brian's gonna try and push through it and he usually succeeds. its been his tell for years. or have u not noticed he stopped doing his "you sing" bit during IWITW verse. he wants to try and sing it again. im proud to be his biggest fan since 1995. ironically ive got all of the BSB albums even their greatest hits, chapter one album. i cant wait to hear what solos brian has in this upcoming album. im cool with aj&nick taking lead, ofc kevin&howie finally got more solos too but brian has to come back full on. he barely got any proper solos in IAWLT era, but i think hes a whole lot better now than he was in 2014 when the album came out where i live. ofc i got it for my 21st bday. thanks dad. lmaoo i love brian. he had that voice and he's slowly now finally coming home.

    I have loved them since I first heard of them in 1996 when I was just starting college. I will forever be a fan. I remember blowing all my allowance on their albums, posters, magazines and merchandise. Did not regret it for one second. A lot of boybands back then were popping all over the place, but they didn’t have as much charisma, camaraderie, talent and star factor as the BSB. Seeing them together after all these years, now dedicated family men, still good friends, and still performing, very well, might I add, gives me a sense of pride as a fan. I have chosen well. They deserved my love, adoration and respect all those years ago, they deserve it more so now. Keep slaying, boys. Your loyal fans will be here always. Love and respect! 💕 ✊🏻
