I won't be that harsh and say I never want to see him in my tv again, but I do think it would REALLY help him as a person if he moved out. I understand the cultural aspect and that many people in the Cuban culture continue to live with their family until they are married, and it's also true with many Italian families, (so don't just write my comment off as ignorance) but there is something to say for living away from your family for at least a full 2 months, while doing normal, daily tasks, and then going back, because often people realize you have some differences from your family that you wouldn't have noticed if you continued to live with them day in and day out. Denying that would be just stupid

Mady deserved an apology for what appeared to be highly insensitive and completely cruel thing for his mom to do. Chris Harrison shouldn't have gone after Madi because it was obvious neither of them was ready to give that relationship another chance..I mean Peter didn´t have interest in going after her - and only wanted closure with Hannah B after everything ended...and as for Madi nothing had changed in the reasons of why she wouldnt commit to Peter..so all of the sudden she was going to ditch her values and morals for him after he was engaged?! And Barb.. wooof.. she was too much and proves why Peter thinks crying and love is the same thing.. in conclusion this finale was a total mess.

Peter will struggle finding a wife or even a girlfriend thanks to his mom. After seeing her performance and how much she bullied Madison on live TV and even after Peter and Maddie broke up who would want to be part of that family.... And the sad part is Barb is proud of being a bully... I used to feel sorry for Peter until I read what he did to Calee Lutes (broke up with her after talking of marriage to get on Bachelorette). He led on Hannah Ann and Madison and kept Victoria around just to be with her in fantasy suite. He was a huge disappointment. If Barb or Peter show up on any other show - I am CHANGING the channel.

I think this is when you say "Respect your elders." As a mother, you want the best for your children and although I wouldn't have acted the way Peter's Mother, Barb, did, I still wouldn't have agreed to Peter's choice but one has to remember, they are the ones that have to live together. For me, I think Madison is a spoiled young lady. If this wasn't to her liking, why did she go on the Bachelor? Lets just say she wasn't my favourite because I think she had an attitude. Meaning she thought she was better than most. Sorry, Just my opinion.

This season was an ABSOLUTE waste of my time.

Productions manipulation is starting to ruin the show. It started with Colton's season when they brought that girls parents to wherever they were without telling them -- knowing they didn't want her to be with him. Cassie, that's her name, oops. Anyway, Chris Harrison going to get Madison was wrong for all intent and purpose. From a friend to a producer -- it was wrong. Peter is a pilot -- he could have went to Madison if he really wanted to and he didn't. Production brought Victoria's ex-boyfriend to perform on one of her dates, putting the 3 girls in the same house at the end, Peters ex showing up on a date with Victoria...it's too much. They are ruining the show.

I don’t feel authenticity from Hannah Ann and that was just the start, I think she was preparing herself to get dumped and maybe felt excited that she could be the bachelorette, so much that she was hoping to get dumped, so when Peter proposed she had to force the smiles and happiness.

Hannah Ann dodged a bullet. Can you imagine that mother-in-law?

The “torn and conflicted Peter” really made Hannah Ann sound like a Disney villain. It really feels like she felt the breakup coming, memorized several “destroying” lines and then performed them the best she could - which is why it feels off and like bad acting. Not saying she wasn’t hurt, but I think she was EXTREMELY prepared.

You're right. She said on Rachel Lindsay's podcast that she had a feeling that a breakup was coming but she called him that morning before they met up and asked him if he was going to dump her. Apparently he assured her that he loved her and wasn't planning on ending things.... so i think there was some level of shock

Yes. It seems EXTREMELY rehearsed and fake to me. She kept off as shaming and nagging and sounded inauthentic af for me.

You CANNOT convince me that peter did not make a mistake with the names but then covered it up...the tone of it sounded like he wanted to say “so Madison will you marry me blah blah”

I love Lauren so so much. Thank you for entertaining me and making me smile Lauren. Smiling as I’m surrounded by kids out of school in a teensy apt. in an empty scary NYC. But Lauren is smacking balloon planes and being silly. And sometimes silly is what we need. Be safe everyone!

The producers tried to save a season that they overproduced and failed miserably. Peter broke up with Hannah Ann and didn’t even reach out to Madison, ChrisHarrison had to go get her. That should’ve been a sign right there. I actually respect Ari and Jason Mesnick more because they made a mistake and went forward with who they wanted. Peter seemed to have no idea what was going on at all.

I think when Peter was proposing to Hannah Ann and he said Madison....I really think he said the wrong name and he caught himself then threw in that Madison left. The main reason I feel this way is the tone in which he said Madison....

peter is a good person at heart, just wasn’t a good bachelor. that role was just not fit for him and made many mistakes... he acknowledges his faults, so i hope he grows from this experience and does better and communicates his feelings better in his next relationship. paradise is just not the place for him this year or next year since he’ll absolutely get eviscerated there, i think he can be successful there since it’s one relationship, not 30.. just not right now. i wish all 3 of them the best, i think madison and hannah ann will be on paradise this year (if coronavirus doesn’t halt b’ette production further).

I also think he was saddled with being a babysitter, referee, counselor and therapist for a tragically poor pool of immature brats and game players to choose for a wife and couldn't focus on just one. Not all his fault! If Madison hadn't played her stupid look at me, I'm a virgin with standards you don't have or want carrot and stick "wait" 3x game, he could have concentrated on someone else.

No, Peter NOT for Paradise! I can't stand his face when he gets angry at someone for rightfully calling him out, and it's like he never actually learns. Also, he did not take responsibility for any of his actions. When are they going to realize that sex doesn't equal love!! It didn't work for him with Hannah B, so what made him and his family think that it was going to work with the other 2 finalists?

Barb was awful BUT looking at both sides Madi wasn't blameless either. Don't go to meet the parents if you are unsure. When Peter asked Madi if she was sure she could move forward with him being intimate with the other girls, she probably should not have accepted the rose. I can see how Barb was annoyed because that 3 hour convo should not have happened. Anyways Barb still took it too far, she should have still supported her sons choice. Not surprised they called it quits, Barbs behaviour is just hard to come back from.

Madison did explain that she thought it would be difficult, but she wasn't sure. When you are in love, your thoughts and feelings go at war with each other. Its even more hard if you never experienced that before. Maybe that was her way of trying to fight. Remember they don't see what we see.

I think as a fan of the show she desperately wanted Peter to have a fairytale ending and so she was pissed at Madi for ruining that moment.

We all thought the girls were too young and immature for this season. Boy, we were wrong! Peter was the most immature of them all.

Well you cant help but think that this trainwreck was Karma after what he did to his Ex.

I heard from a source the reason Barb went psycho was because she was unaware of Madi and Peter “getting back together.” Truth is Peter didn’t want to reach out to Madi. It was production. That is why when Peter sees her, he’s like what are you doing here? It was a forced finale to make it look better. He didn’t want to be with either Hannah Ann or Madi.

They always use clips in the tease for seasons, that don't make it into the show. Heck, one time, in the tease for a season of Bachelor in Paradise, they put a clip of Ashley I. crying and saying she needs to take a pregnancy test, (Ashley I. who was a virgin, at the time, like Colton) and then there was not one mention of pregnancy that entire season, by anyone

I can't be the only one who is LIVING for Lauren's hilarious expressions interspersed with various clips from the show.

Did anyone else think Peter look like he'd taken a benadryl or had too many glasses of wine before the taping? He seemed like he was half asleep when he and Madison were on the couch.

The most devastating loss to this franchise when Chris Harrison got cancelled was that Lauren Zima vanished. I miss her SO MUCH.

Absolutely. Except I'd love to marry him, so now I can indulge in the ludicrous idea that he's still available (I live in China...).

My thing with Barb begging Peter to pick Hannah Ann is that she barely met her. She knew her all of 1 hour - maybe 2? For her to respond so strongly to her, calling her an "angel on earth," etc., felt so misplaced and dramatic to me.

New golden rule for the Bachelor people: don't cast pilots as The Bachelor. The Jake Pavelka was on the wall.

Whoever is reading you will overcome because you are a fighter who has won previous battles. Peace

I would really like Claire to have a fair shake with men more her age!!!

What a welcome escape

The first red flag for me was when Peter asked Hannah B if “she’d like to be part of his season “ it was early on in the season and if he really wanted to get back with her or explore something, he’d have left and done so, but he asked her to be part of his “journey “ cause he wasn’t willing to walk away from the experience of being the bachelor. I don’t believe this guy was in this to find someone for the long run.

Who does Chris Harrison think he is? It was not his place to fly back and talk to Madison regarding Peter’s feelings. If Peter wanted her then he would have gone after her. Chris made it way worse by taking the situation into his hands. Let Madison or Peter reach out to each other if they wanted or let them be single if they wanted to. Don’t intervene to create extra drama or encourage a “happy” ending to keep the show in good light. Peter said his love for Madison was only a small reason for his break up with Hannah. The show is pushing too far in terms of manipulating the scenarios. Learn from this season production...

The bachelor producers chose Peter because he is easily manipulated, not because he deserves to be the bachelor.

It did not evenn looked like he even acknowledge that this pretty lady wanted a relationship he's talking about what he wants in a form like he's life ended and never found it

She is freaken hilarious. I don't even watch The Bachelor. 😂😂🤣 But I love watching her do these shows.

peter wanted the chase. he wanted what he couldn't have, and when madi came back, he didn't look that into it anymore. plus, they're on different pages in every aspect of their lives. i think he wasn't ready to take on the role as the bachelor. i felt like he needed to have more time for himself; to learn about himself and to grow, esp coming off of hannah's season. idk, i believe he's a good person, just a lousy bachelor who didn't really know what he wanted.

Peter seems to be a genuinely good guy, he just needs to make his own firm decision of what he truly wants before proposing to anyone. It seems to me if it were for him, he'd propose to all the women. He is like a kid in the candy store, he wants all of the candy! I think he needs to mature more and better yet, love himself first before loving another person...he is one confusing man. In the other hand, I enjoy watching Laura Zima you make my day! a Modern day Lucille Ball! Lol

No man so indecisive deserves my vote. Really felt he played everyone all along esp Hannah Ann and Madison. Gave such a sad face during the breakup and the live finale to look like he was really sorry for what he did zzz not fooled! Bad acting, Peter! Plus he wasn't even excited to see Madison when she came back. Red flag??

I thought the way Peter and Hannah Ann first sat on the gray couch was weird ... she put her leg on him and he pulled it up. It was her face that told me something was wrong..

For real though!!! we are just chillin at home, may as well feel glamorous

I really disliked this season. Mediocre women. And Peter was only in it for fame. Barb wants to be famous through Peter cuz she couldn’t get famous on her own. She even signed him up to be a child actor and that is very telling. I actually felt sorry for Peter on the finale. Hannah Ann eviscerated him and then his mother was horrible to Madi and him. So disrespectful. I stopped feeling sorry for him 2 days later when Peter posted a video of himself and Barb on Instagram. They were lounging around at home and making fun of an article about people worrying about the discord in the Weber family. What jerks! People invested time and emotional energy in this show. The producers, the Webers and the contestants played us like fiddles! IMO, it truly was the worst season ever and I will not watch another season. (At least I hope I won’t) Who am I kidding, I’ll probably get roped in again! 😉 Curses!
