Well money is always appealing, as is fame (and Chris is always seen as a good guy, because he is) but he also mentioned that he's fascinated watching people and seeing these situations unfold. I know I am, and if my job was to host these shows and get a front row seat to the action, I'd sign up in a heartbeat!

Years ago, when i first started watching the bachelor, i didn't seem to like Chris that much, but the more i see of him, the more i like him and am so impressed with his sense of humor and intelligence...i never thought he was that deep before, but i'm seeing that he's a pretty deep thinker...

Juan Pablo was emotionally unavailable for a relationship, instead he goes on the show to be a "reality star"...Nikki who he eventually broke up with, found out the hard way, how emotionally unavailable he is. Because if a man truly is into a woman, he's going to find time for her, he's going to make her feel like she is something special. Instead, it was his daughter and his entertainment business that he was emotionally available for.

How could you say that when him and Nikki lasted longer then most bachelors who got engaged on the show. Plus he was the only one who didn't go around milking it every opportunity he got.

He came off very sweet at the beginning then his true colours started to show - especially after the final rose ceremony. Fair enough there is a language barrier but he knew what was going on. The end of the season was just very underwhelming. He seems like a bit of a douche.

I really like Chris as well as Jeff Probst too. They are very well spoken and knowledgeable about human nature. Juan Pablo was a jerk. A cute jerk, can you imagine if And I had ended up with him, and we never would have had her as the bachelorette.

He's just honest (= rude) and everything is okay (which means he doesn't take it seriously).

Oh come on, the producers of the show purposely pick controversial people to be on the show to create drama because we all know women love drama and they are the primary viewers of this show. I can't stand all the drama and the fake suspense and all of the superficiality of the show.

Eew Chris. I lost some respect for you after those snide comments about people needing support from the government. You are rich! Don’t pretend that you know the plight of others.

I don't think Juan Pablo was able to fall in love and propose because he had a daughter. I don't like how Chris calls him a victim. I don't think he was acting like a victim he got a lot of hate. And Colton has said after the show you are fed to the wolves. Juan Pablo just wasn't gonna be a puppet for producers. When Chris calls him controlling it shows me how awful the show is to its leads. No I don't think Juan Pablo needed to play by their rules and if we all saw the season he wanted Charlene. Nikki was lovely but Charlene was the ONE. It was obvious. It was the most realistic ending. There is only ONE married male Bachelor for a reason and ok Matt James is with Rachel when he really could have ended things.

Juan Pablo was so arrogant, I felt really bad for his pick when she was supporting him as he acted that way and he couldn't even fix his lips to say he loved her.

JP was gross; he probably got away with his behavior within his own culture because the things he was saying didn't translate to kindness or goodwill. I'm not sure if I'm communicating this correctly. I remember the season vividly and it was continuously cringe-worthy.

Juan Pablo made an interview recently and he explained why he left like that. Chris wouldn't stop asking him to say I love you to Nikki. He felt so pressured and I think in this case Chris is also not realizing what he generated for this to happen. I think Chris is trying to look good for himself because hes the host and has to come back to the show. He should have assumed his mistake of pressuring JP and cleared that out instead of bashing on the contestant and kept making him look bad and acted like the victim HIMSELF

How or in what way was he feeling like "a victim"? How was he controlling? Any examples?? The footage of him saying "before he interrupted me" doesn't qualify in calling someone a victim or controlling.
