You know Rick that I just realize that when I was about 9 , I was at home alone and a very bad electrical storm came . I was so afraid . What I did was got my cocker spaniel, sat on the couch and sang the song, “I will not be afraid” . I will not be afraid , I will not be afraid, I will look upward and travel onward, but I’m not afraid. He says he will be with me, he says he will be with me, I will look upward and follow onward because I’m not afraid. I made it through that terrible storm (2 tall pines in our yard were struck and fell). But singing that hymn gave me courage. Your sermon reminded me of that day. Just as it started a big black man knocked on my door and he asked if he could stand on our front porch. I told him yes. God watched over us. Praise God for his protection of us.

Thanks for your message of praise. My little children like to dance to praise God. They dance with joy.

My little girl (aged 7) has been feeling like she no longer believes in God. She has come to me many times now, crying, saying she feels like he is not real. I had No Idea how to help her. I have been praying for days for God to save her. To meet her where she is at. She is an extremely clever and logical girl. To give you an example, at age 2 she told me she didn't believe in Santa Clause because there is just no logical way that he could a) enter houses without chimneys b) travel that fast c) give kids different gifts, because jealousy. So you see, she has a very scientific brain. I am much more touchy feely. Today God sent me this, and while I was praising God he sent me a sentence "ask her why she is angry at me". I never thought she could be angry, but it makes sense. I will ask her when she gets home and hope and trust that God will meet us where we are at ❤

How did it go? My children have big questions too. I try to explain that it is a relationship not a religion. Ask God to give her signs that he's real.

At age 2 to say those words were incredibly unusual for a 2 year old .I am a daycare worker.

I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of the term 4 lenses before, but the idea is that there are 4 parts to connecting to God. Scripture, prayer, experience and reason. it is believed you can only fully view God and his gracefulness with all 4 lenses. the two lenses I see a lot of people struggle with are experience and reason. I have a younger brother, age 15 who is very similar to your daughter. I genuinely believe it is because he does not have all the lenses to him yet. God reveals himself to everyone at different times and different ways for different reasons. praying that your daughter will find a connection with God 🙏🏽

This video is better than all the avenger movies I have watched. As far as I am concerned as Saddleback gets bigger, Hollywood gets smaller and that is the living truth.

This was great! Always needed. I don't do emotions, feelings or cry but let me tell ya God be working in me cuz every time I go to church I cry thru the whole service🤷‍♀️ at first I was embarrassed the crying continued. After a while I just accepted it. It's like a catharsis for me. I can release all my stress, sadness, worries, complaints n anger I was holding for the week and just let it ALLL go. Don't understand it but at the same time I understand🌻

Bless you, I am glad to hear crying is helping you. I'm also finding that I go to church and cry. I think its the Holy spirit helping me process the grief after losing my 12 year old son, two years ago.

Awww! Sweet soul! I do the same! For so long, I haven’t been able to cry! I’ve always been an emotional person, but the more I got away from God, the more numb I would become. When I came back to God, I cried like a little baby!! Ugh!! Best feeling ever! Almost like a renewing of emotions!

Hi, as an ADHD myself, emotions I can not really escape, though "mask" it a little because I hate others, especially strangers noticing it. BUT, for some reason I also can not help it when I'm at church and it feels that Jesus is talking to ME! I can't figure it out also why I am not able to not control it, but I feel less embarrassed though still not totally okay with that. So basically I can relate.. a lot! 🥰❤

Thank you for sharing this video. For the past two weeks our house has been dealing with 'COVID" symptoms - first my husband, then myself and last my grandson (whom we are raising.) This past weekend I suffered an IBS attack which is so painful and weakening. My energy has been depleted and my joy feels pretty low. I tuned into your message and it has been an encouragement to keep my focus on God and to praise Him through everything. He has proven many times to be faithful in my life - I know He will do it again! Thanks for the encouragement. Now I get to go watch the second part to this !!!

Pastor Rick, I very much enjoy your sermons. I thank the lord for the words you speak. I do however wanted to ask why Sunday is holy for so many? Does the bible not say to rest on sabbath as it is God's holy day?

All the songs Rick was referring to were removed from the presentation here. The songs should have been there because he wanted everyone to sing them. We missed out on all the impacts of his message.

I am interested to know what does God say about me. I'm bored of myself and deminishing myself or wallowing in some negativity.

Between minutes 44-45,why is a Pastor preaching to thousands in a Sunday sermon using the phrase “everything sucks”?

I found Lou Corona's youtube website,he was a very sick man. He said God gave him some things to stop doing and other things to do. Check his website out. This is my 1st time hearing you. I was trying to pull the other site up, but you kept popping up. I said, maybe I need to listen to this man and I did and do.
