"Nothing happens here that doesn't happen there" Took me 25 years to understand that... Summed up in a song. Well played gents..

I wonder how good it must have been to see these boys grow up and grow into their talent as kids. Bet they have some pretty proud family.

The A/V effect of this really shows how you could throw these dudes in any era and their music would fit in just fine. They are a perfect example of timeless music.

I have to say, this is my favourite recording of this song. it sounds like the voices are floating from an old gramophone..

Ambience. Setting. Nature. Rustic. Cinematography. Sound (old time gramophone). Everything about this is so perfect. It brings back so many memories of childhood. I always come back to this. I’ve been watching this for over a decade and will be watching for several more (I hope).

There ain't nothing like two beautiful brothers in a folk band. Heart perpetually melted.

I just divorced the mother of my children...a pathological liar, shoplifter, and serial adulterer diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder who I doubt uttered a single truthful word in 17 years of marriage. I can't express how it feels to listen to this song. Thanks to the Avetts I have something to hum in my head as I walk down the street....

These guys are the real deal. They aren't musical pedigree either. There dad was a welder and mom a teacher. Finally music for us 30 somethings.

Every time I listen to the Avett brothers, I'm just in awe. There aren't words to describe how their music makes me feel. What a way to make this shit-tastic week more enjoyable.
