Hope you enjoyed this video, I want to start working on a series of these kinds of videos using different rhythm games just as a side thing for the viewers that like all sorts of content (and for me to have fun playing and editing things other than Beatstar). This will be the only series where I stray away from Beatstar but if people enjoy it I will perhaps do more with other games. :)

Not true. You get used to analysing the charts by time, and you can feel the game and the music. I played only for 1 year and manage to fc often playing the first time.

@@krafuae I'm talking about tracks where they switch up gimmicks. I've FC'd Palescreen, Sigma, etc. and that made me no better playing CSQN for the starting 10 plays. Or maybe it's just a skill issue on my part

I can full v 13s now, and am moving to 14s, I can do them, I usually get bs or as but still not the best, but for 15s, they scare me lol idk even know if I am good or not lol😅

That feeling when you rotate your phone to play the upper notes thing easily and when you're done with that part and pause the game to rotate your phone back, instead of pressing the resume button, your confused brain presses the back button.

one of the best in-game tips is “if you’re confused with a screen full of notes, try to decompress the patterns” you can use this in junction with the music to slowly learn each chart’s feeling and timing. this is how i got a phi on a lv.15 and tons of other good grades on similar difficulty songs

I like how it actually gives good tips. I like to just watch through it and trial it before trying actually to get a feel for what it's like, and take a look at the patterns then it gets less crazy

@@BeatstarPlayer180 lmao yeah it’s an experience for sure. EZ and HD are fine, and I seem to be able to do up to IN13 with no real issues, but IN14 is tough and IN15 is a lost cause 😂 Been practicing index as well but I still have much better precision with my thumbs

Same lmao. I've never really use index cause I like to play while holding the phone. So far it's not that bad except for a couple IN15. I'm trying to unlock Rrhar'il currently. Hope I don't go insane

damn, i thought i was the only one who feels stuck. it seemed like everyone, including people in the phigros groups i'm in could play IN15 charts like it is IN13 for them, while I'm stuck at IN14 :

for me personally, instead using my entire 4 finger, I usually only use 3, left index, right index and right middle, it's easier than using your entire 4 finger I only use left middle in a pinch or 'drag/yellow' note with left right movement (0:33 0:44) or when the chart is designed to use with 3-4 finger

Here’s some totally unasked for but hopefully helpful advice from someone who went from using their thumbs to using multiple non-thumb fingers in Phigros! As a basic rule of thumb, if you’re working with 2 or more non-thumb fingers, it helps to be playing on a table or other flat surface. You can’t hold the phone in your hand and get the same reach as you can with the thumbs. There’s a different range of motion for the thumbs than the other fingers. At first, it’ll seem really weird and clunky to use multiple fingers. Since you’re not used to it, it’s likely you’ll have to deal with fumbling fingers, slow or out of rhythm reactions, and difficulty with keeping a consistent pattern (like you have to do with those spam-like notes that go on forever). Really, it’s a bit like playing the piano with one hand vs. two at the same time. Suddenly there’s more fingers to use, and the playstyle you’re used to won’t cut it anymore. That’s a lot of muscle memory that you have to either get rid of or buildup anew. And how do you buildup muscle memory, coordination, and skill? You practice. Every time you load up the game, play a couple of songs using multiple fingers until you don’t want to anymore. That’s all it takes. Sure, your scores won’t be as nice as with the thumbs, but ability takes time. Even if you’re doing bad, if you keep trying, one day you’ll find that you can get the same/higher scores with 4 fingers that you were getting with your thumbs. Just remember: be patient with yourself, you can’t rush this.

uhhhh in my experience, phigros has some distinct rules when it comes to charting, like shiny blue notes usually being on the beat. you don't need to read a pattern perfectly to play it, you can kind of just estimate which notes are which by looking at which notes are shiny and which aren't. for 3-4 finger patterns, usually 3 finger patterns are divided into 1 note that's far away and two notes that are close together, so it's really a matter of choosing which hand to play the two notes with. charts like distorted fate and destruction 3 2 1 get suuuuuper brutal when it comes to dividing fingers. 4 finger patterns are essentially a more complicated version of 3 finger patterns, you probably still have the 2 notes on the beat, and then a part that's half on the beat. It's probably played basically the same way

I always play with 4 fingers, so I dont struggle quite as much on 3 or 4 at a time charts. They are still harder than 2 though, lol.

Pixel Rebelz IN can actually be hard and easy at the same time I played it a few times and i went from S rank to AP in 1 try

I have beef with unlocking igallta first is the six song I HATE IT SO MUCH FROM THE AMOUNT OF TRIES IT TOOK TO GET AN A and then it took me like one year later to get an a in the in chart also the worst song to exist is destruction 3 2 1 because i had trouble with tryna unlock the at chart but now my biggest flex is full comboing in chart for destruction and with rrharil at chart chronostasis is so annoying it took me more than 15 tries to try and get and A i was practicing in rising traxx thing (when i was unlocking igallta i just started so uh ye also sorry for yapping a lot)

You can play the first songs on the hardest difficulty but you unlock songs as you play through the game so it varies
