I’m not sure if you’ve seen it, but before you watch Civil War, Spiderman Homecoming, far from home, and no way home, you should watch the original Spiderman movies, those being the Sam Rami ones and the Andrew Garfield ones. Another thing to look for in the Sam Rami ones is Bruce Campbell whose a friend of Sam Rami, he also plays Ash Williams from Evil Dead, another Sam Rami film series. He plays a announcer at the wrestling match in the first Spiderman, won’t spoil where he shows up in the other 2.

Also in Spiderman homecoming when they dropped off Peter from the airport to his house, Happy handed the suitcase to Peter. Hi Emme! Re: Thor’s hammer. It’s not just that the hammer is heavy, it’s that there is a “worthiness” spell on it. @@CrazeeAdam Once she had seen Iron Man 3, the groundwork is laid to begin the series. There are 7 seasons, 136 episodes. I recommend reactors do the Agent Carter series before Endgame. [2 seasons, 18 episodes] The approach I recommend: A prologue episode before each season based on your experience in the MCU. Make your predictions. Watch each episode on Patreon. Watch every second, including post credit scenes. There are mid season breaks. After the season, do an epilogue episode to process the series to date. The editor can do each episode for KZread or story arcs. Maximum yield of 150 episodes for AOS, 22 for Agent Carter. I would cover these two series before diving into the Disney+ era. Plenty of content for years to come. The MCU is always expanding.

Of course they learned the wrong lessons from it, decided to start spamming out way too many films with as many cameos and crossovers as possible, bigger CGI budgets but worse writing, and because they were popular they became a target for political actors within the company. The effects weren't immediate because it takes years for new projects to get greenlit and produced, but this was the beginning of the end for the MCU, a victim of its own success.

Interesting, thanks! The waitress thing is also a more recent narrative technique; in mass-disaster films where the main character isn't a victim, eg superhero movies, they'll select an "innocent civilian" to illustrate the general human cost of the carnage. I think it's connected with the reaction to Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel", particularly the giant climatic fight in Metropolis. The sequence was heavily criticized for feeling like a pointless orgy of CGI destruction, in a city that apparently nobody lived in, as you didn't see any people amongst all the massive buildings collapsing. Robbed the scene of any empathic resonance; there was nobody for the audience to identify with.

Yep. Steve visits the restaurant and she waits on him. They had a brief interaction and that's when Steve first sees the Stark Tower. And later she's shown running in the streets, having a dialogue with a police officer. That particular scene didn't fit though. I can see why they cut it.

A few of her scenes were cut, so you don't much understand the ones that remain, but don't worry, it's not vital for the plot.

Good reaction. In Marvel comics, there was quite a long time when heroes NEVER first met each other normally. Instead, they'd have a really stupid misunderstanding, or one or the other would be 'triggered' somehow, or a villain would be manipulating things from behind the scenes. So the heroes would spend half the comic beating the cr#p out of each other before they FINALLY figured it all out. There was kind of a small callback or two to that in this movie.

The waitress in New York actually had an extra scene earlier in the film that was cut, which also included a Stan Lee cameo. Cap is hanging out at the diner outside of Stark Tower, and she serves him coffee or something. Stan is sitting at the table next to Cap, and tells Cap that he should ask for her number. Another bit of trivia is that the waitress is played by Ashley Johnson, who played Ellie in The Last Of Us games and from the D&D series Critical Role.

"It's sort of like a Jekyll and hyde situation" Precisely, Hulk was inspired by Jekyll and Hyde. Hulk is an entirely separate entity from Bruce, that's why He was referring to him as the other guy... Bruce Banner has various personas that can emerge in various forms(from skin tone(Green/Grey) to Power levels etc).. Some Hulk personas are: 1. Savage Hulk(the one in this movie and the one most people are familiar with) 2. Joe fixit(This is a Gray Skinned Hulk,he's a very cunning persona). 3. Green Scar 4. Devil Hulk etc... There are so much more Personas in Bruce... if only Mcu had done Hulk justice, there's so much Mcu has brushed over concerning the Hulk(be it power wise and character wise). Anyhoo lol as you can see I'm a huge Hulk fan, sorry for the lengthy comment. Loved your reaction btw.

Glad you enjoyed this great movie. Some FYI: CAP WASN'T TIPPING FURY. He gave him $10 from their gym discussion bet. "$10 says you will (still be surprised by the things you see today)". LOKI'S PLAY: The Avengers bickering on the SHIELD helicarrier turned into real rage because of Loki's scepter. Loki intended to unleash the Hulk. THOR'S HAMMER: It isn't too heavy for Hulk. It is enchanted by Odin's magic that only the worthy can lift it.

The “star bystander”, as you sop perfectly described her, was going to be set up as a love interest for Captain America. That ended up being scrapped, so although she was featured a lot in this movie, she doesn’t play any major part in the later installments.

The reason Stan Lee isn't seen until the end is because that scene is a late addition. If you check out the deleted scenes (they're on KZread) you'll note three significant parts: • There's a whole framing sequence of Hill (aka "Robin") being interrogated by the Council about what a disaster this was, can we trust the Avengers, etc. I think that Joss Whedon (the writer/director) was right to cut this, because it's too downbeat even with the eventual triumph. This is the first Avengers movie, we shouldn't be calling the very idea into question so soon. (OTOH, there were some bits in there about whether or not Fury and Hill can trust each other that probably should have been saved.) • Waitress girl (we never learn her name) gets a whole storyline, a "how the battle looks to the ordinary person" sort of thing. (There's an intertwining story with a cop, too.). Again, I think Whedon was right to cut this; it's unnecessary and we don't really know these characters. • But there are other scenes about how lonely Steve is, how awful it feels to be a fish out of water like he is and so on. I wish they'd been able to keep those. And in one of those, he's at an outdoor cafe, sketching a skyscraper and Waitress Girl comes and serves him and flirts with him. And as she walks away, Stan Lee is at the next table and he tells Steve "what are you waiting for? Ask her out!"…but of course Cap doesn't. He's not ready for that, and not only because he's still in love with Peggy. So in the original version, you wouldn't have to wait for the end to see Stan. Good catch, though.

22:43 Banner was a world renowned scientist before the hulk. Tony respects him more because not everything special about him came out of a bottle. Cap had a sense of justice and personal courage, but hadn't contributed to the world in a significant way until he became a scientist's lab rat. Tony also probably resents Steve a bit because Howard talked about Steve a lot, but was known (to Tony) to lack interest in his own son directly.

37:30-I remember watching this film in theaters as part of a friend's birthday party (it was also my first time really watching the MCU). When this scene came on, everyone in the audience stood up and applauded. I didn't even know Hulk said, "Puny god!" until rewatching the film because no one could hear it from the applause. For more Coulson, I recommend the tv series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

It’s 7 seasons long with each season having like 22 episodes with each episode having a runtime of 45 minutes to 1 hour, but it is so worth it.
