I was doing a bug mission the other day and as I finished it, I immediately got the notice that the bots were back. Immediately tried the new mission type and now it's my favorite mission type. Love it. Missed the bots. .. To destroy them, of course.

Where were you when the bots returned? Tali was sat at Super-destroyer brewing more liber-tea when phone rang "bot are returned" "no"

On the one hand I'm kind of disappointed the bots got resurrected so soon but on the other, I had forgotten how much I disliked fighting bugs, they are boring and annoying and after a whole 2 matches I put HD2 down until the bots or Ilumidinids came out.

There is some similarity to Elite Dangerous with the way there is a narrative over time with the players making a decision on how it progresses, however, i think helldivers has done this much better than what frontier managed so far, i still remember being excited in 2015/2016 when the Thargoids were first being discovered and what the response was going to be. peace or war

Pushing them out of the Galaxy was cool, but I'm still shocked anyone seriously thought there was any chance they might possibly be gone permanently Game Dev: Lets make a bunch of awesome content, then just delete half of it a few months after launch! ROFL

I think everyone assumed that it would be a repeating war. So we beat everything on "easy" mode. Then the map resets and we do it again but different

I have GTX 1080 and i haven't buyd this game cause it doesn't have FSR 2 (+) support. I don't wanna play games with 30 FPS...

HD2 leans heavily on CPU so depending on how modern your processor is, you could definitely get better than 30 fps with a 1080. For reference, my son plays on my old machine with a i5-6600 and GTX 970 and while he has to put everything on low, it's still playable.

I have a 1080 and play with textures on high and most other settings on low and get buttery smooth 60 fps. Doesn't look as good but it's certainly still enjoyable with a 1080.
