The Astounding Ustad Homayoun Sakhi with Ustad "Pinky" شیــرین عمــر چـه تیــریــږی دریغــه دریغــه
The Music Room at Friend's Hearth کاشانۀ اخلاص was honoured to have two of the musical mavens,
Ustad Homayoun Sakhi and Ustad Sukhvinder Singh "Pinky" as special guests on 23 January 2022.
They met for the first time and created magic on stage, leaving the audience spellbound and mesmerised.
First item was in Raag Basant, an original composition of Ustad Homayoun Sakhi himself.
That was followed by a composition of the late Ustad Mohammad Omar in Raag Todi.
After the interval, Homayoun played a couple of famous songs of the late Ustad Sarahang, concluding with the above famous composition of the late Ustad M. Omar.
This item is a well known old Afghan song, sung by several relevant Ustads and singers.

Thabla guy is engulfing the rabab. He should let the rabab do all the melody. That schit sound makes the rabab go nuts. Humayoun tried to keep him under his thumb and noded several times but the thabla guy is playing on the top, thinks people are interested in his thabla. I wounder if humayoun sahb was comfortable with guy or not. Great rabab player.

The legacy of tabla guy is same as Humayun sakhi. He has manything offer to his listeners more than this rabab player. The class of tabla player is higher than the rabab player.
