    You know, its hard. Despite all the time that has passed by, and that most people from those hard times have died, its hard to forgive. Its hard to forgive those millions of children, elders and women that perished in burning barns and from german machinegun fire. Its hard to forgive that so many young boys meet their horrible deaths in battle, or even worse - in a prisoner camp.

    A point of clarification to yourself: there are hundreds, if not more of documented incidents when common Wehrmacht soldiers commited killings, without any SS involvment. It was a directive (i dont remeber the number of the order) that removed any responsibility from those who comitted atrocities on Soviet territory. It was even encouraged to kill slavs, and exterminate villages. Sure, SS had the lions share of killing. But the Wehrmacht was not far behind.

And the Versailles Treaty, well, i have already stated that i think it was an extremly unfair treaty and a disgrace. I do not support it in any way, you know. But that dosent really justify the german and nazi actions.

  • @Alsemenor
    @Alsemenor12 жыл бұрын

    I find that argument strange. There is no reason to even defend them. I know that not every bloody german was guilty, but that does not change the matter. It matters of vengence, they did not suffer enough. So even though, the nazis, and to an extent - germany was responsible for horrible massacers, they should not get the same in return. I do not agree with you. They deserved every ounce of what they got, and they should have gotten more.

  • @Alsemenor
    @Alsemenor12 жыл бұрын

    But i do blame the people, because it was their fault too. But i recognize that there was a resistance, and people who thought diffrent. And i salute them. But no less, i think that the punishment germany and the nazis recived was far, very far from enough. And yes, i know my history and why Hitler came to power and all that. But that does not in any way excuse the actions of the Nazis and germany. And in the end, you cant just seperate germany from the nazis like that. Both were guilty.

  • @MegaMerdeux
    @MegaMerdeux12 жыл бұрын

    so you think that the people in germany are to blame?? a lot of people tried to kill hitler but they failed , hitler survived several assassination attemps. You cant blame them for failing , theres nothing they could have done.
