The Art, Science, and Mysticism of Dreams - Ingrid Young

Since everyone must sleep, dreaming has always been the subject of fascination for artists, scientists, and mystics, as well as for other people. In this video with Ingrid Young, discover the science of sleep stages, the practical need for sleep and dreams, and the various depictions of dreams by artists. As transpersonal experiences, dreams can function as “messages from the subconscious” and thus can inspire creative ideas, allow for paranormal contacts, and also reveal profoundly mystical meanings. Meditation is a helpful adjunct to sleep hygiene, and this presentation ends with a short meditation that includes a Rosicrucian technique that can enhance dream recollection and more restful sleep.

This was very validating for me. My grandmother communicated with me after she passed and we had a conversation about vibrations. That conversation sparked my interest in the unseen worlds and it is very clear in my mind still 20 years later. PP

I realise that this talk is primarily about dreams and messages from myself, but I have seen a couple of other beings in my day to day life, not experienced anything lately, nothing that caught my eyes. One was a flying pixey? Anyway I have been trying to clear/ clean my pineal for years and the pituitary. Thanks for the information! Love and blessings to you, One and All! Namaste 🙏

I have had some interesting lucid dreams, in one I was convinced that I travelled to the spirit world, astral plains to visit my father who had passed a few years earlier, funny but his older brother who also passed was with him, along with a lot of other people who I didn't recognise, but a good few knew who I was? Particularly the women folks 🤷‍♂️ Very interesting stuff!

Ps I had a stroke a couple of years ago in recovery from a more serious accident! Maybe thats why I don't remember dreaming much anymore, but its still there!

It occurs to me now that my dream life has always been quite varied 😊 I have had sleep paralysis on a number of occasions, but not much now? I have had hypnogogic dreams when napping, but I have to say I seem to sleep less and less as I get older? When I used to suffer from paralysis I got used to it and in the end was able to move my hands and then I would wake wake up...

I always thought that Jacob's ladder was a more mystical experience? Attainable to all in other words!

I dream everyday and always perceive my dreams I am not always lucid but I can still see my dreams because I am aware when awake unlike most people that are ignorant and automatic 🥱
