THE ART OF PEACE by Morihei Ueshiba - www.shambhala.com

This audiobook describes The Art of Peace, the real way of the warrior that is based on compassion, wisdom, fearlessness, and love of nature. So taught the great Morihei Ueshiba (1883-1969), founder of the Japanese martial art of Aikido. Aikido is a disciple Ueshiba called the “Art of Peace.” It offers a nonviolent way to victory in the face of conflict, and he believed that Aikido principles could be applied to all the challenges we face in life-in personal and business relationships, as well as in our interactions with society. These succinct and pithy teachings are drawn from his talks and writings. The collection is compiled by the renowned modern Aikidoist John Stevens, a disciple of Ueshiba. WWW.TAICHIBALI.COM

same, when i saw that book i was interested to see if it was real, glad to see it was, i do have a nemesis though that is the exact opposite of me, she reminds me of a villain from a movie since she has that overconfidence about herself, also she is interested in the art of war which means i cant trust her at all

I am glad that all of you have found this book! I hope that it opens up a door inside you to a way of peace and understanding. Real martial arts is not having to directly fight at all. Avoid a fight at all costs. A soft and gentle and thoughtful answer turns away wrath, But harsh and painful and careless words stir up anger. This is priceless advise! It is better to convince an enemy to be a friend to change hateful feelings to those of love and compassion. Respect for all life is the most precious gift you can give the world. Nothing else matters besides Respect 🙏& Love ❤be well my brothers & sisters walk in your own light 💡 we are blessed we are the light of 10,000 ⭐️ the Universe realizing itself. You are god you are the blazing light of the entire universe. The divine light shines within you. You are never alone we are one in the cosmic continuum of consciousness. You are love made flesh! Be at peace and know you are loved.

Respectfully, that’s not why PTSD exists, and we were designed to be proficient hunters. Our bipedalism and ability to sweat allowed us to be persistence hunters, as well as our brains and thumbs. So we could make tools and stuff, and our sweating allows us to run long distances without having to stop and cool down like animals do. It’s really intriguing. I recommend you read some about how despite our seeming weakness we’re really good at surviving, and, as an extension, killing. That said, peace is always a desirable option, and we should strive to not have to kill.

@Johnny CrankNose Although sweat in extremely beneficial to our wellbeing...we have pores that enable us to sweat because we've evolved beyond fur. Out ability to sweat, is not do to gastronomy. As a matter of fact, it's a hinderance. When we sweat we secrete bacteria, of which becomes aromatic in death like everything else. Many many animals have a brilliant sense of smell, that tell them to investigate or GTFO!

@@thENDweDIE I mean, sweat, while smelling terrible, still allows us to run great distances without having to stop and cool down like other animals. One could say an elephant’s size is a hindrance because it makes it easy to be spotted by predators, but have you seen an elephant take down a lion? Everything has drawbacks, but sweating and not needing fur is an evolutionary trait

@@johnnycranknose4098 Murder and Killing are two entirely different concepts. Hunting for food isn't going to cause PTSD lol, Hunting people on the other hand..? Well I think we know what that leads to. Hunting for food leads to more life, hunting life destroys life. Basic math really lol
