Two things that annoy me at gigs... "Talking" and "Filming with mobiles"

I hugely respect the innovative and creative achievements of the Art of Noise during the 80s, but I don't see anything appealing in watching a group of nodding men operating laptops while simply triggering audio clips while occasionally raising their arms! I was hoping for a more engaging, creative and authentic live performance.

As a fan of The Art of Noise and ZTTs output, I'm sad to say that I agree. You only have to look at how they did a live performance back in the 80s to see how much more imagination they put into their shows. A drummer, a guitarist, three dolly-birds, and of course, the Fairlight CMI Sampler, all combined to make a far superior show.
