Bob Sarber I don’t believe this is the real National Geographic. Obviously this is a “Makey uppy” series of shorts loosely based on the real thing. Lots about the program screams “ a city person would swallow this hook, line and sinker”. Anyone from real outback or country will spot the details that are staged right away. I watch it now and then for amusement value. And he does spread a conservation and self reliance ethos which is a good thing. Don’t think he does any real harm, which again, is a good I thing. I find myself smiling when I watch it. The only problem that might arise is if some silly wan-a-be old time woodsman thought this was all there was to survival in the outback. But, even in that case, the would begin to see reality in a very short time. Have a good day. Not everything is real that we look at on you tube. 🙂🌲☘️
