KISS Method of shrimp keeping (Keep it simple silly)
A pretty comprehensive guide on setting up a shrimp aquarium and get you going. You basically need, aquarium, filter, substrate. Aged well and mature and then some quality shrimp. Then some patience. It's really that simple :)

    Great video, keep it up. I started 14 years ago keeping shrimps. I remember the prices were very high especially taiwan bees. I once paid 60€ for one blue bolt and one black king kong. But since this day shrimps are part of my life. Two month ago I started two tanks with Taiwan shrimps. Until now 8 shrimps were carrying eggs and the first babys are crawling through the tank. You and shrimpmania helped a lot.😊

    High 5! i remember when a black king kong was $80 CAD and the person show showed me had 2 and was super excited and proud. It was very weak back then over 15 years ago or so. Congrats on your success and wish you luck in your journey! thanks for the support!

    Great video bud! I prefer to use a lot of plants in my tanks cuz it's just better for me visually and helps to keep the water oxygenated.My favorite plants for shrimp tanks are all the vescularia mosses(Java moss,Taiwan moss etc) and guppy grass

    unfortuantly i don't have this colony anymore, they passed away, it went well, but didn't really breed true, orange eye blue steel. I'm going to cross breed some blue steel too for a fun project! high 5!

    Funny story, I swear shrimp teleport. I found a sulawesi about a centimeter in my neo tank. He must have hitchiked as a baby over a month ago on a seiryu stone. I noticed him 4 days ago muching away on the stone. He stays there lol. Idk if I should let him be. He's colored up.. grew.. the tank is at 72 or should I acclimate him back to the sulawesi tank!? Lol Great videos! I always share your channel when I sell some sulawesi shrimps ❤

    Amazing story. It'd happened to my on my shrimp rack, I find sometimes find a shrimp from 2 levels above. I once converted a sulawesi tank back to caridina an didn't notice a few sulawesi, they survived a few months in caridina water. Thanks for the love and support

    Hi, great video as usual, really enjoy it! ^_^ I see a mixed colony of wine red, panda and bluebolt at the end of the vid, just wonder so you intentionally do that or it's a culled tank? :D

  • @RWAquariumPages

    @RWAquariumPages

    Great question. It's intentional, for taiwanbee shrimp, bb, bkk,rkk, rb, when you mix them, their babies turn out to be one of those 4. So semi pure

    How would you go about moving the small shrimp to a nursery tank?

  • @RWAquariumPages

    Feed them so they gather around and scoop with a 3d net and or use a Airline tube to siphon them to a bucket. Hope that helps!

    Hi man, I dont know where to contact you haha. But I got a resetted tank running atm, its been 2 weeks. It has the old filters and moss so the process should go quicker. How long do you normally wait? Or should be checking ammonia + ph be enough?

  • @RWAquariumPages

    @RWAquariumPages

    7 ай бұрын

    With old filter the tank is instantly cycled. With about 2 weeks the tank should have enough bacteria in the tank. Did you also add bacteria powder? Some people use that some don't. You can contact me on my instagram dm. Thx for the support. Check the ph abd ammonia are good tests to check. I think you're good to go

    @@RedGalaxyFishbone acutally the more I think about it, don't need bacteria powder but fun to dose. The bacteria should be in the used media already. It just needs a source of ammonia for the bacteria to grow and time for it to spread it around
