This video came at a perfect time!
I remember the first time I ever started throwing a deep plug I'll never forget that day coming off the water with my cousin boy my forearms were on fire my shoulders were numb but I had the biggest smile on my face because I had had more fun that day that I could ever remember in a long time.. and up until that day even though I've been fishing since I was a kid I wasn't really a plug fisherman I'd always drag around the old ball and chain, but he convinced me to pick that 6xd up and fire it out there and just start winding and I did and man when they hit it and it knocks slack in your line there's no other bite like it! It's extremely addicting and I can tell you now that I have more money in crankbaits than I have in any other kind of tackle.. probably lost the same amount of money as well 😅😅 but that's just all part of the game!!
Don't ya just love it when you're catching fish and other boats come over beside you and start marking gps waypoints like those boats did in this video 😄
I attended a Toyota Texas Bass classic on Conroe back when Keith and Ike ended up with a tie-had the shootout fish to win-Awesome crankbait fisherman, both of those guys 👍🏻

5.1 or 6.1 for me Hard to find em thaf slow anymore. They used to be fast

These crank bates rarely work for me, I have one that's very similar just a different color and i never have luck

Its the speed of the reel. Reels in so many inches of line per handle turn. 7.5 to 1 gear ratio means the spool turns 7.5 times each time you turn the handle one complete turn. Hope this helps ya.
