Love this lady and her message.

Today I joined a dear friend for a Sunday drive through lovely mountain scenery to watch a small theater play 40 miles from our hometown. It is remarkable what intimate theater can do; awaken the soul to consider questions of our mortality, what it means to be alive, what it means to embrace or resist death. The play was written in 1923, and dealt with a post WWI Britain where people had lost their way, lost their memories, were struggling to understand what life meant in the aftermath of this horrific war. We watched the reality of these confused souls, as they found themselves on a ship with no crew, no captain, not sure anymore what was real. Sometimes our world today can feel this way, where we long for connection with one another, with the Creative Force in a world so dominated by greed and insensitivity to so much suffering. Good plays touch us to be more compassionate, more aware of our common bonds despite very real differences. These actors and the director took us outside our narrow worlds into a larger context, like Marianne speaks of here; we cannot do our yoga, mediation, prayers in isolation, but need to share and raise our collective consciousness.

Yes, complacency Is negative yet we rest in God, not our comfort zone. Thank you Marianne.

Amazing talk about the importance of getting out of your "persoNal spirituality". It's time to collectively pray and work together for change. Expect to meet your shadow in many different forms, as you become more and more strong, disciplined, and spiritual. Fake it until you make it. The reason we pray and meditate is it gives us the strength and insight to move around in this world. Be patient, be kind...first with yourself and then others. God Bless!

thank you so much. You and a friend of mine have helped me realize I want to return to yoga. It was giving me a bgreat space for quite a long time. It got messy and went astray though when I moved to the place when competition, and emphasis on as superficial stuff as appearance , size, body build and the like was put on. I let it ruin my serenity, and do damage to who I am. Injured physically and emotionally I promised never to do it again. Now I recollect the time when I prctised it with un-shallow teachers, and have decided to make a comeback. THANK you! The shadow, and trialas that the universe will give me have also been eye-opening. It is so true. Every single time I get tested to realize who I am ( I am never bad though tend to beat myself up a lot), and take the healthy decision, I get more more tials and tests. I will be more mindful, and watchful so as not to give up on my true nature and not give into the sick.

What I find that so many of these lecturers miss is that all people are on a spiritual path because we are spirits encased in human form. The difference is that there are those that understand they are here to evolve spiritually and others don't.

Clarity is what I took from her speech.

So glad she is running for president and raising consciousness in our world. What she is saying makes a lot of sense. Love is THE most powerful source of energy on our planet. Instead of hating trump, we need to LOVE our democracy more, love our planet more, love our neighbor more and love getting involved, rather than watch KZread videos and let Washington be overrun by the greedy few.

I may have typed last message out of turn. I messaged prior to listening which is because I'm still new at all of this so ALL thoughts are clustered together. I'm assuming everyone else knows the answers. Just putting it out there into the universe. I love this.

It's so true with the early childhood. If I could change legislation, I will make mandatory paid 1-parental leave for all eligible workers for 4 years. The few, but intense, errors that I made while putting mine into baby-care, I am still paying for it decades later. Kids only recognize your absence as abandonment, and it affects their future emotional life so tremendously. Future healthy or fearful citizens are made in that 5 years. Like my mechanic said, "you got to pay me, the problem is if you wait later you pay more"!! Excellent talk!
