Oh my that incense place is incredible and you get to have it for yourself. So great ❤. Yes, 💯 Instagram shot hehehe and Yen white dress is 👌 I would love to be there 😊. That banh uot that is my favourite dish. I had it the last time I was in VN. They sell it alot here at any Asian grocery store but not the same 😅

Hahaha I know what you mean! The food in Vietnam just tastes better especially if you go to a really nice spot it's unbelievably good. I mean the ingredients are all so similar right... how do they take it to the next level 🤔

😁 everyone should visit hanoi at least once. It's such an interesting city. It was a delight being able to return and seeing some of the more off the beaten path areas.

Vietnam has so many great gems all over the county. We visited a few unique villages this trip, but this was definitely the most photogenic.

A lot of colors in that video and nice places to visit.

Love the video, how the colors pop and worked really well with Yen wearing white (as well as Peter 👍🏻), which provided more contract. Lunch stop was nice, esp Yen’s grilled chicken in the broth The tea house looks nice and cool, after a hot day Have a great week both

Hello L H 😁 it was a very enjoyable day out in the incense village. Didn't expect to see so many people working together producing the sticks that was definitely one of the highlights of the outing too. Ban coun is one of our favorite Vietnamese meals so good. Simple but tasty 🤤

😁 I think it does get pretty busy there, but we went so early that it was relatively quiet.

The incense from the bamboos were the highlight of this vlog. Very charming & very friendly locals. Thanks guys

Yay public transportation 🚎 (from Yen Nghia Bus Station no less 😁😁😁)! The best!! Have to find out what Yen means in Vietnamese because I see it frequently 😁😁. I didn’t see the platform wobbly or shaking…all I saw were some awesome Oofos 😂. Beautiful setting and great photos! I’ve found, in general, the guys working the tourist spots really have the photos dialed in. Banh cuon!!! Yummmmmmmm…. Great food, great photos, great memories, great day! Thanks for sharing guys and looking forward to the Sapa vid! Stay hydrated and safe travels!

Hahahaha dude... in sapa I was telling Yen how proficient I am with jandals and not slipping while walking down some rock steps.... and at that exact moment while I was giving that speech I almost lost my footing while wearing the oofos and fell down the stairs 😂😂😂 hence you will be seeing me in shoes more this trip.

What a fascinating and colourful day out! The incense looks almost like bunches of flowers at first glance, but the scent must have been intense. Do you use Google translate for menus in the restaurants when they're not in English?

You mentioned cinnamon flavor in "banh cuon"? Is that a substitute for "ca cuong's" essence? (giant water bug or Lethocerus Indicus' ) essence, extracted from the insect's head or brain.

Hello, we've never been asked for a tip in Vietnam after 3 trips there. We gave a tip to the guy who helped us because he was so kind to us. He was so shocked that he ended up taking us to see more of the village 😂

Dunno why there are some of those around 😅 I guess it does happen but we've never encountered it in Vietnam and we've been there quite a few times plus travelled throughout the country too! We happily give tips to our rowers too for sure though coz it's such a tiring job they've got. And yea super nice of the guy in the village! We just communicated with him through Google translate 😁

Oh and yes! The return bus 91 stop is pretty much opposite side of the road where we got dropped off. In the video's description section we added some Google links so hopefully comes in handy 😁✌🏻
