(I know you probably meant well and I don't mean to "attack" you by saying this )yes girls have a high pitched voices but stuff like "scream like a girl" or "hit like a girl" are usually used to shame men for showing emotions,not being strong enough..etc and to imply that girls are the weaker sex and such expressions can be really harmful to people my brother would spend hours trying to come up with excuses,beg my mom to not go to school,cry himself to sleep... bc he didn't want to attend PE classes bc he wasn't as strong physically as the other boys hope this was helpful xx
