Yes it much be said but also wisdom is to be applied so not to destroy the person but uplift such Since they're both friends he should have either called him nor visited his church one on one to tell him the truth and when he refuses that's where you can easily bring it out

The issue i have with my generation is the level of convenience we seek regarding kingdom matters. Apostle Paul never stopped talking and correcting the church in his letters. These letters are read publicly and we're also privileged to read them. Why are we now feeling attacked that Apostle Arome rebuked something publicly? It is not just enough to be born again, there is a transformative work that has to happen in the life of a man. While I pray towards the transformation of my members, i wont endorse what doesn't look like the kingdom just to show that i love the person. The kingdom assignment is sacred. The earlier we see this, the better. RCCG and Living Faith have been doing publicity for years and thousands of people troop there. The message hasn't changed..channel hasn't changed. If we think publicity is what draws men. Then we are totally wrong. When there was no skit and all ...what draws men to meetings? Let us set ourselves on fire, the world will come and watch us burn. We dont need to bring down our standards just to draw people... we're more than this.

First time here, and I love what I hear. I attend HICC, and Pastor Bolaji is my pastor, but I agree with Apostle Arome. Thanksgiving day, Pastor Bolaji brought out Tolanibaj- a BBN girl who openly talks dirty and promotes promiscuity. In his words "he prophecy that she will be a "celebrity". Harvesters says 3 to 6 months and you'll be a changed life, is she a changed life. What is the testimony? Fantasia he used all popular faces to advertise the show, the story was all over the place and only the person there was Etim Effiong and Dorathy the BBN girl. Traction isn't conversion we shouldn't be distracted. Dorothy is a member of HICC but I agree Arome should have done it one on one

I think Kingdom matter and the defense of the faith is more important than friendship. Jesus says "if you right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out" I support Apostle Arome 100%. According to what I heard, unverified, that clip showing Apostle Arome was in a small gathering of church leaders(pastors). It was like a private session. That clip was never meant to make it to the public but it did. Still doesn't mean that the matter shouldn't be addressed publicly. It's simply so the body of Christ can learn and do better 🙏🏽

My problem with christians is that we pretend as if we don't know things going on around the world. So if you are pastor now, no creative will even thrive in your church. What happens to reaching out to each other before calling out online? Most of us who works around media and entertainment as Christians now are sinners. There's a lot we are missing. Well the words is not today! That's why young believers can't confide in anyone when they err because nothing like brotherly love again in thid body of Christ. Everyone keeps things to themselves. Before online brohaha, we don't reach out to each other.

I used to like watching Mr. Macaroni, but I was tired of the sexual contents, even the way the women dress sometimes. I watch Christian movies, even when portraying prostitutes, I still see the Christian message and holiness. It does not bother me, you don't see those women show any body part. Yet lives are changed and transformed. Let us honor God. Baba Adeboye can't be making his hair and showing his chest because he wants to reach youths. We need to return to God, to Holy Spirit power. Judgment will begin in the church. Let's not confuse our children. I am so tired of mixtures in the House of God. Prophets face criticism. Pastor Arome has been given grace. This is not the first time he is being criticized for speaking out. I didn't even know someone would speak out. I just stopped watching some of the comedians by the help of God. I am a born again child of God. I see enough perversion almost everyday, i don't want to add to it by clicking buttons on my phone. I have power over thst one. I don't go to movies, except as led by the Holy Spirit. I like to control my remote to television. Someone cannot be feeding me. God is enough to feed me

@@samk6417There are many ways you can do it. Do not use that which is indecent to present Christ, it's a ploy of the devil in these last days and many will think it's legit but it causes more harm than good. You know God is not bereft of ideas, therefore if we turn to Him he will give us tremendous ideas. Now you might say but this idea probably came from God and also because it has a Pastor in it but remember wisdom is proven by it's children. The fruit of a thing is what matters. There are many who will start following that lady and the said comedian henceforth and they will probably feed on whatever content that these people have produced, and we know Mr Macaroni's content borders alot on fleshy issues. Then the Pastor had sometime ago endorsed a lady who did a cookathon, he even called her to testify in church and the said lady was indecently dressed yet he so celebrated her. The sooner we address these things and reject what should be rejected the better for us. We are in perilous times and we have to be cautious.

Thanks a lot for another wonderful video. In response to the video, I generally advise ministers to use “The Ethical Functionality Test” I encourage them to Always Perform The Ethical Functionality Test Before Embarking On Any Public Action Outline of Test 1) Is it Effective? This simply means; does it work. It makes no sense doing something if it does not work. Make sure what your embarking on can work. This also lines up with the scriptural injunction in 1 Cor. 10:23 which speaks to the expediency of what we do. 2) Is it Legal? This speaks to the thing being right. Nothing you do would be valuable if it is illegal. Make sure you’re covered under the ambit of the law of the land. This can also be used in the context of moral rightness of the action in question. Being believers the “scripturality” of what we do actually trumps the legality - hence thus Saith the Lord is higher than this Saith the Law. 3) How will it be Perceived? This speaks to the general public perception. If what you’re doing cannot be perceived to be right it’s best to leave it alone. Public perception is not always right but it can make or break you. Do things in a way that even if some don’t like it (which could be the case) it would carry the “feel or fairness”. It’s often said that Justice must not only be done but must be seen to be done. It is advisable that All three must be satisfied before one proceeds.

Great analysis, sir. However, I feel if the script was written to show that the actors now have a rethink to move away from 'what they are known for', it could also mean the skit was just for the purpose of make-believe because they will most likely return to the way their brands have been built afterwards.

Nigeria's problem is that this culture of comedians mounting church podiums has become pervasive and normal in a number of churches. Maybe they have to look at what sacred is.

The problem of the Church is that there's no room for creatives. Those who are Christians creatives finds it difficult to go out because they have been tauhht no room for them. But the bible is full of drama. Before they will say i am not born again lol. We face all this as those working ariund that profession and by virtue of study. That's why there's so much problem with music, comedy, dance, theatre, movie once it's not mentioning Jesus there's problem. We need to understand difference between circular and canal. Most of us watch alot of non Christians movies,we have preference for more than others. I love his analysis but as a theatrical person and a student of dramatic literature, the analysis isn't balance and somehow condescending, you forgot that Pastor Bolaji prayed for Mr. Marcaroni and he couldn't say amen, because what he portrayed as and have always been portraying isnt right, so what else do we need or want. The prayers have shown the climax of the whole acting and what's the pastor comdems. If i was just typing only as a Christian i will keep lashing too but because I know the artistic ingenuity and didacticism in that short skit. The truth of the matter as opposing the analysis of this KZreadr is that CHRISTIANS actually have problem with the characters Mr. Macaroni and. Dorothy of big brother. That's is why apsotle used the word strange comedian. Nothing is wrong the skit, all messsge is clear the real problem is the dramatic personae which many faults and believe should be Antichristian. That's it

Sincerely, there is no problem with creativity in Church, in fact the hse of God should be full of gifted ppl doing great exploit but those who are doing it have to be born again. If they are, there are some issues that won't even rise up cos they will obey the law of the Spirit of God in them, so their joke self will be holy and it won't be less funny but rather not worldly. Layi, who is also a great comedian has been used to advertise chc program and there is no perversity in any of his comedy. In the early Apostle days, they recognise the importance of consecration so much that for you to do anything in the hse of God you have to be spirit-filled, read Act 6 to see how Stephen and 6 others were chosen just to serve tables. The devil is looking for a loophole to infiltrate the church system and he has found social media, so we must be careful what we take in from there. And we know Mr Macaroni is not actually a believer, he made it known in his interview with Emma oh my God. That he is not really a part of a religion, though he attends anyone he is called to. I do watch his comedy and laugh, but I also filter in my spirit what I see. But for an advert on a church program, to follow the standard of Act 6, it is a No.

@@idowusamuelayodele Hello sir. I see your point and I agree that creativity can be expressed in a Godly way. I also believe that in whatever profession we are, we must first be christians. Our loyalty to the Lord and His kingdom should precede and influence the principles of our field. There's room for art and creativity in the church. Have you seen the Mike-Bamiloyes, the many amazing Christian musicians and other creatives we have in the body? But we can not bring worldliness to the church. We would have lost our saltiness and there'll be no impact

"To him that's pure, all things are pure, to him that's dirty all things are dirty" we are so quick to judge, and condem which as a result we dont see Truth clearly.. The end of that skit was a prayer pst bolji prayed for mr macaroni "he prayed that may her daughters marry a man like him(mr macaroni) guess what? Mr macaroni couldn't say Amen. Why because he knew his lifestyle was bad... That's was a strong message passed to men that run after ladies.... Lastly, the young lady was not looking for sugar daddy, she prayed in NLP for God provide her 5million for her project which could be business... Let's stop all these judgemental behaviors..... Jesus was with worse sinners to save them, but funny we today are more holy than Jesus. If you think mr macaroni skits are all sinful why are you watching it? There's is sense in the young mans craft but you guys are just holy than jesus to see it .. May the lord help his church.
