ProTip: People are using the missile launcher at desert mil base to do 12 rocket barrages now and they are very effective. To get full protection from the rockets you need three SAM's powered and loaded with ammo. Remember to have at least 2x if not all 3x SAMs incorporated in your base design OR build your base with a large Hill between you and the desert Military base to block the targeting of the Missile launcher. Fortunately, this base is perfect for SAM's because you're roof has three square tiles open that are surrounded by Triangle roof tiles so you can place SAM's on those three squares and have them be mostly protected by roof tiles from snipers breaking them with explosive 5.56. love this build and will be trying it out for the next several wipes

I think the best way is not use roof, so you can build walls to block people from shooting

@@Kai-pq4gk people will grub your compound walls and if your SAM is ground level they can break it with tools. that is a rookie move. naked with scrap swords could kill your AA defense for zero cost. on the roof the only way to get sams is snipe with a high tower nearby or heli onto the roof with sams shooting you and auto turrets shooting you. Roof is the best spot for them trust me.

@@wraith6500 I reiterate, it is intended for active players. It’s stated several times in the vid. If you plan on spending a ton of time offline, this isn’t for you.

Ceeg. I just defended a 4v1 in this base. It has its limitations, but it being so cheap to build and upkeep makes it look so week for the attackers. They just took out my roof turrets and thought they could easily topdown me, but the triangle roof buildouts on the side are just nutty for defense. I know it's an older design, but I really love it still. Thanks.

Got onlined by a group with this base design. It worked really well the peaks allowed me to easily fend them off . Really great base design definitely gonna use it in further wipes.

This base is a monster ! I love how you combine stories with versatile peaks. The cost is insanly low for this base advantages. There is just one problem that change a bit the design if you patch it. Let me explain : You use early peaks with double roof triangles, but in my opinion this is not meta cause of the invalid projectiles bug. When you are crouching in your early peaks to take a shot, your head is glitching and creates 100% invalid shots for server side. Problem here is, this roof triangles creates your roof peaks too... I hope this comment will help you :) (You can find more explanation on the GameLightz's channel in his last vid, this guy is a fucking R&D master)

has this been patched or something? ive followed the steps perfectly and cant place the triangle over the frame

just a minor chang to the base design you can have to bunker that brake off of the roof one would house the tc and the other would have the main loot both bunkers can have furnaces for jump ups. if you up grade the core to hqm itll cost 30-40 hqm with the added coast of the bunker Edit: you can add 3 triangles onto the air lock one on the left and one on the right if you add half wall on top you can have 2 drop boxes a 2 shot gun traps killing whom who may door camp

everytime i try to build the bunker, whenever i build the triangle frame ane the triangle it says target socket is occupied does anyone know how to fix this

The video is just badly edited the three chack seemed strange to me and didn't fit the picture. At the twig level also a frame then floor on it then right frame..... It wasn't visible in the video. That's what you get when you just build bluntly without thinking for yourself.

Such a good concept. Unfortunately, I tried building this 3 different times thinking I must be doing something wrong and nothing. Can't seem to place the floor triangle over top of the triangle frame. Keeps telling me "Target socket occupied".... Anyone else have this issue or knows how to fix it?

When you are placing the floor triangle that is next to the roof, you need to look at the edge (where the roof is) so it will stick to that wall, instead of the other floor triangles/frame

Hey man, really cool and unique base. I love your use of single doors in the second and third floor, not something I see often. It might be worth explaining the updated offset bunker in the comments. Also, why have the weirdly shaped compound? You could have a much larger compound by making it a normal circle and just extend the separators. Also, why honeycomb the loot rooms on one side only? Extra upkeep for not a lot more protection.

couldnt get the bunker to work until I got the orientation of the triangles right. both the triangle above the bunker and the frame must be oriented to the back of the base or it wont seal. nice base!

This base worked great for my 5 man lol we have school and can’t play much so tend to build small. I got rid of the shooting floor and used a open roof with peekdowns instead was great for defence thanks man 😇

Be very careful my guy, unfortunately, this bunker may not work just yet on console. I would recommend grabbing some wood on a modded server and attempting it first just to make sure. The base still works without the bunker, but is much much cheaper.

@@CEEGrust sadly we dont have custom servers yet on console😔 but the bunker does work I tried a build by #dust a wipe before called the crypt same starter footprint and exact bunker it worked but was a pain to get it to armored from starter. #solo life lol.It's a 35 rocket build if they raid it the way u want. I like the ease of not having to push for so much hqm at the start. Maybe I missed it in the video but roughly how many rockets to tc in the aperta? Thanks for the build my bro much love from nz!

Hey CEEG, I've been following your channel lately and came across after a search for a specific base. I just raided this base by minicopter land on roof then rocketing roof to foundation with my duo. I knew it was designed by either one of few people I follow. That said, I would really like a design that would withstand such top-down raid and keeping loot-rooms on open-core intact, meaning the raider will need to use more explosives due to rocket's damage radius not being enough. Bigger, but only enough not so much to keep it still affordable. Thumbs up man, keep up the good work.

I would love to see a triangular footprint version with lootrooms at the second square from triangle of this rather than an hexagonal for further moving the opencore lootrooms from the top down splash damage anyways. Would probably be a little more expensive, in fact a QUAD base I would presume and be a very good base design on @CEEG ‘s channel.
