I've just been advised Denzel Whitaker is NOT Forest Whitaker's son. I feel so stupid. Sorry to this man.

@@EarthEagleGTthey look kind of similar 😂 That's why it makes sense
Why use angry in the title and not mad? Mad can be interchangeable with angry whilst nodding to the obvious mad scientist, a good double meaning, whilst angry goes with an offputting stereotype, I wouldn't have given this a chance had it not been for this review because I'm long tired of all these negative depictions.
I’ve been seeing some buzz about this movie on Twitter today. Great timing that I saw this as a featured video to watch on my feed! Thanks for reviewing it now I’m interested in seeing this!
It seems like an addition book series to , ‘See You Yesterday’, movie, a girl uses her smarts in attempts to save her brother who’s at a cross roads between guns and drugs.
Damn I thought it was heading to 3 stars, but once y'all started talking about the wall I knew it was over lol.
Denzel Whitaker isnt related to Forest but this movie sounds awesome. I gotta seek it out.🎉 thanks for the review
looking forward to this, I love the title
It's giving me the throwback, May, which I loved. Will definitely be watching this. I enjoy the reanimated genre.
Seems like 'inspiration' can come in a, 'twisted' form too? I mean, this character's Mom was a medical student - so, daughter lives through that unfulfilled dream to *save lives* and not take a life! What an original theme! By the way, *if* this was an animated form, an easier watch😉
Another great review guys! Please stay as a duo...
I love how you discuss storytelling and what is effective and how movies/scripts hit “a wall” or stay too long on a spot in the act. Just great discussions about the films you watch. I love spoilers so I’m all in!
Love this review! Can’t wait to see this!
I was curious about this one and after your wonderful review I'm definitely eager to watch it!
The ending unexpectedly had me almost tearing up . Beautifully disturbing.
“Listen to our podcast… Bye” I need this on some merch

I don't always have time to comment, but I really love all your videos. You're smart and kind (and not hard to look at.) 😂😂

Thank you!
Those weren’t Aisha’s kids they were her siblings
I finally watched this yesterday, I really loved it, it's definitely on my year favourites list
A 2 1/2? Listening to the commentary seems it will be a 3. Esp if the movie was made without a lot of money.
I’m so glad you did a review for this movie 😊
Sounds interesting, I'll look out for this. I wouldn't know most of these movies exist if it wasn't for you two.
There isn't Any Other Song. What's that in reference to again?
The main character gave a great performance .the film struggles in the last scenes but I was intrigued the entire film
Just watched. It's really good!
This movie was way more sadder than I expected it to be. Great movie still.
❤👍👍

Wow, I thought the little girl was pretty great. I felt parts were given too much screen time for the sake of the politics… I think there was some interesting directions, but it would be nice if the main character was self taught than alluding to a superior education compared to her neighbors. I rather has more time around her and her brother, father, and mom. I think there was a lot of fitting in of themes, however, as a horror buff, I thought the horror aspect was pretty exciting. I do think when we watch film, we are accustomed to desire moderation of the things we find underwhelming or overwhelming, but never to take it as the artist wanted it received - like an intentionally grotesque painting that won’t find its place on a wall, but will remain on public display, terrorizing.
So many dumb things happend in the last half if this movie
