Are we going backwards? Nothing we built today is designed to last. Can we even replicate??

With the scientific knowledge we have about structures and buildings, we should be able to build something better than some of the shoe box houses we have.

It would be wise to replicate but in order to do that, it would take years just like these beautiful ancient monuments! Anna

@@billiebickers....well said sir, and also we need to build our buildings to last atleast one hundred years if not more. Now what ever our so called Engineers build collapses after 15-20 yrs, or at the maximum 25-30 yrs.

LOVED this video! Such a beautiful place set to beautiful music. It doesn't look real, It looks like a fairytale kingdom scenery from a movie.

Wunderbar. Danke für's hochladen. Schade, dass ich wegen meines Alters nicht mehr reisen kann.

Putting Bagan in perspective: there are more than 10.000 temples so for over 800 years these people built the equivalent of one cathedral per MONTH!

And people still in AWE about the Egyptian pyramids and wonder how they got build… 🤦🏼‍♀️ I don’t want to ridicule their greatness, but craftsmanship like THOSE is simply mind blowing 🤯

I wish I knew the entire story! Why so many temples? Why are some bigger and smaller than others? Are they strategically positioned? And what for?
