Wicked demo! Really highlighting the sonics and versatility of the Amp 50!
Gidday mate, I just want to say that watching your demo videos are a real treat; not just because the awesome pedals you showcase but also your amazing playing!!! You are a master of bluesy classic rock... thanks so much.

An excelent demostration of an excelent product! thanks for sharing this video!
Love mine!! Great demo
We are talking sweet tones, great demo!!! I love CorbCorbin's suggestion below of comparison between the Milkman and one of Victory's pedal amps.
At this point I tune in just for the monologues, the playing is a bonus 😂

I was hoping you'd demo this one day. Love the pop tart analogy
Jeezus man I have a mortgage to pay, stop with these demos please! ;D But honestly, can't wait for the new stuff next year - some runs through your play style would be cool, I still can't comprehend the half slap half fingerstyle half funk half blues you can do. Always good to watch, makes me pick the guitar up more often to remind how much I need to practice.
Who da man, that’s right brother, you da man. Excellent presentation and so excellent in fact Im ordering one. Thanks for sharing.
Happy Travels. The world needs that smokin jam of yours.

Great amp for sure! I love these pedal format amps. I want to save up for the Victory Dutchess V4, but i would still be more than happy with the Milkman. Sounds fantastic. I really want to experiment with one of these and making it stereo. Use the effects loop out (Dutchess) into a stereo pedal then use a stereo GFI Systems CabZeuz at the end of chain for direct options, or a Seymour Duncan Powerstage for one side of the stereo field after the stereo pedals and back to the return for the other side when using physical cabs. Since the Milkman just has the pedal out instead of a full loop makes the stereo option with cabs more difficult. I was going to say use 2 powerstages, but at that price u could get a second Milkman and just use them both at the end of chain. I really hope one day soon i can mess around with one.
You forgot to say an important thing about The Amp. It's beautiful!!!! I have one of these and I love it! Very nice to see you playing one! Cheers!

Nice demo! Have you used it with the Iridium as an IR-response only?
I paired this with a milk man cabinet with Jupiter speaker and it’s fire. It punches way above it weight in terms of bang for its buck. I can imagine ever parting with my milk man gear. For me that’s a sign of finding the right gear when you can’t imagine being with out it. It’s just a part of you and your sound. I’m sure I’ll still fuck with other amp and what not. I still want tubes in my life. But that’s more of stubbornness thing. Can’t recommend milkman enough.
❤
These are nice, but I’d go with one of the Victory amps for pedalboards, which even have tube preamps, and one with a tube power section as well. They have two notes can sim out, line out balanced, fx return, and a speaker out. Though, I’m not sure if the newer ones do more than 4ohm speaker out. Just trying to get ya some more cool gear Buddy. 😂 Hit up Victory to ask them to do a comparison between the Milkman and their equivalent.
Nicely done. Looking forward to how it performs in a gigging situation.

Take a look at the Amp1 … by far the best pedalboard amp out there.
If this was just an amp without reverb and tremolo I'd be interested, maybe. I like to pick my own effects pedals . Onboard reverb and trem is like buying a cellphone with preloaded apps that I don't want . But otherwise this pedalboard amplifier seems interesting.

Damn... now I want to compare this to a UAFX dream 65.

I have the Dream and The Amp 100. I bought the Milkman to see if it could replace both the Dream and my Princeton. I like the reverb in the Dream better, although the one in the Milkman is very good. The cab sim in the Milkman is the weakest point IMO - it's kinda dark and lacks the clarity of those in the Dream. I only noticed this when A/B testing them though. Otherwise, the one in the Milkman is fine and I never really think about it. If you disable the cab sim on both and run them into an interface, applying the same cab sim, you can get them to sound very similar, but I give the nod to the Milkman. The Milkman is also easier to dial in. I feel like I'm always adjusting things on the Dream, while the Milkman is a little more set it and forget it. I was always adjusting things on my board going back and forth from the Dream to the Princeton, which is what I was hoping the Milkman would solve. So far, I've been quite happy with it. I use it through headphones and then take it to jam sessions, plug it into a cab and don't have to touch a thing. I have a 1x12 cabinet on the way. As soon as that arrives, I'll be unloading the Dream and the Princeton.
Can you give something to the sound guy through XLR and then also use a cab as a monitor?

Isnt this the same the amp 50 that milkman released like 4 years ago?
@BuddyBlues
Жыл бұрын
Yes! They also have a 100
@CorbCorbin
Жыл бұрын
Or the 100? Yes, this is the same. I’d rather have one of the V4 pedalboard amps, like the Duchess. Although, the Kraken has more of the same abilities as the Milkman, except Victory uses the Two Notes cab sim technology. 6 presets, and acces to 10 DynIR cabs. Four valves in the front end, with a 180 watt class D solid state power section. I thought they made one with a tube pre and power section now, but it must be another brand. I’d have to use the Milkman again, to decide whether it’s equal or better than the Victory ones. Probably not quite as much headroom, but for a no amp needed, and smaller board, it’s a great option.
god dayum shawty
You don't get 50 watt with 16 ohm. You get 100 watt at 4 ohm, 50 watt at 8 ohm, and 25 watt at 16 ohm.

This is great information. I have a question. I plan on having a trucker Box built. With two 12s? What ohm should i get to keep up with drums. We just jam for fun in a small room. Thank you
@danielbarth
Жыл бұрын
@@clint3586 you mean with this amp? With two 8 ohm speakers wired in parallel you get 4 ohm total, which means maximum output of the Milkman. That will definitely be loud enough for drums. However, 4 ohm is a bit weird for most tube amps. It might be smarter two wire two 4 ohm speakers in series or two 16 ohms in parallel for a total of 8 ohm

@@BuddyBlues Okay... "horrible" is a harsh term. Sorry about that... I can assure you that it's not your playing. You are a much better guitarist than I, but after 35 years of playing, I can HEAR things. This amp sounds soooooo sterile. Maybe just because it's a solid state amp... Is this amp class D or A/B? (not that I'm some electronics wizard, but I can hear the difference). I'd love to hear this compared to an Orange Super Crush.

I completely agree, mediocre sounding but quite good looking 😅 no competition for the best of all pedalboard amps: Amp1 by Bluguitar.
