Actually he doesn't. It sounds angelic in mp3 versions where it is programmed. I am sorry but he can't do high live.

Although he is sexy as he'll and that kinda makes up for his not so good actual voice 🙉 not sure if he is seeing a voice coach but the last couple of years his actually got alot better!

i love when Ahren screams

that vocal dynamic on the first track's outro was amazing, Ahren back on the falsettos and Joel back on tonal screaming, woah, a whole lot of fresh on this band's new material

Then again most of their songs are in lower keys, if you know anything about Ahren you’d know that he’s always struggled with a lot of their songs when it comes to playing them live. 2014 was the year they starting downtuning songs for him, as the years went by they started downtuning more songs, some of them that were already down a key ended up being down 2 keys. Pittsburgh for example is one he really struggled with and probably the most. When they first started playing Pittsburgh live in 2014 they played it one key down from the original then in 2016 they started playing it 2 keys down from the original then right at the beginning of 2018 they did something that a lot of bands rarely do and that is play 3 keys down from the original. They’re not the first or the only band to do that but when you play a song 3 keys down from the original that’s a little much. Don’t get me wrong tho Pittsburgh is a hard song to sing and also happens to be a big fan favorite so I understand why they went for a third on that one but as for the other songs I think he could at least try to sing some of them in their original key again.

I’m glad they’re not tuning Pittsburgh down any lower so far lol it’s already down 3 keys so hopefully they keep it that way, Chasing Ghosts is down 2 keys and the rest is down by one key or in original tuning.

Yeh sunk loto were tuning down on their recent tour too Older the band gets helps the vocals

Honestly after watching this performance over and over again. Seeing them live on tuesday night with beartooth. I can honestly say ahren can hold a good scream and maintain his vocals for 2 hours. I have seen many bands live including slipknot. Ahren is genuinely the best vocalist i have ever heard. I am aware they are completely different sounds comparing him to corey taylor. But honestly for a "smaller" band they can control crowds and his scream sounds a lot better up close in a 2k people venue than corey does. If slipknot played 2k people venues i would say coreys vocals are better, but the problem is they are far too popular for smaller venues and could sell out festivals and venues up to 30k. This is the problem i have with bigger bands and their recognition. Amity deserve a lot of credit for the show they put on with every band member giving it their all. Vocals were insane so was crowd control. Metalcore>anyn other metal

Really seems like Ahren is in a different league than the rest of the band when it comes to talent... not that they're not all talented, but Ahren is just very noticeably more skilled
