LYRICS
Just take it all, my heart, my mind, my every word from out my lungs.
My every breath and every thought, and every word I've ever sung.
And though I'm glad to help you out, and get your feet back on the ground, please understand I'm just a man - you understand?
I'm just a man.
And I feel helpless when I stumble, and my anxiety escapes; I lose all hope and I'm afraid that once again I've lost my place.
I give it all, and when I fall, I get up and give some more.
Until there's nothing left of me - just some bones stacked on the floor.
But every song's a two way street, I give to you, you give to me.
And as long as that remains I will still haul my heavy feet.
Because you're all worth every word, and yeah you're all here in my heart.
And I know we can sing together to avoid falling apart.
I give it all, and when I fall, I get up and give some more.
Until there's nothing left of me - just some bones stacked on the floor.
At the end of everything, this is for you, this is for me.
Your fight to overcome defeat has set the skies alight for me.
I give it all, and when I fall, I get up and give some more.
Until there's nothing left of me - just some bones stacked on the floor.

@@themaidenlessheathen6491 I love these guys so much. I've been a fan since 2012 and I'm going to. Philly this weekend for my 15th show. I hope I can run into Joel or Ahern beforehand since I couldn't get VIP. I've done a photoshoot with Joel and I've met at least one of them nearly every time I've been to a show and I'd love to see how either of them react to seeing me so far from CA lmfao I saw them In Sacramento at the beginning of this tour too. Was so good I had to full send Philly

I certainly don't want it to be "Go Rest High Over the Mountain," but I want something that'll make my kids happy, with a sum of the life's lessons I've tried teaching.

I’m so bummed thatI’ll never get to hear Give It All played live. It was one of my favorites. But I commend Joel and the guys for retiring it after finding out about the guitar parts being stolen. That was the right thing to do. It’s a damned shame that it had to happen that way though.

When I listen to the whole album this song just seems to hit a lot harder for me. Not only do I cherish this album for the songs, but for the moments I shared with people in my life and friends at the time when I was in high school. We'd play and sing along to every song and life was good. It is a time in my life I miss. Whenever the song fades with the choir, I can't help but to cry because you know the little nostalgia trip is coming to a close.

Mabye my favourite Song from my fav Metalcore band and one of my top 10 bands ever! What an inspiring and amazing banger! I'll never forget I discovered Amity in 2014 via Pandora and I immediately purchased "Let the Ocean Take Me" after just hearing Pittsburgh and Give it All... This song is special to me because mere months after discovering it; myself along with my brothers and sister's in Blue were facing intense rioting in Baltimore in April/May of 2015... This song encapsulates everything I stand for as a Police Officer, Soldier, Father, and Husband ... Thank you for giving such amazing music Amity!

Lyrics Oh Just take it all: my heart, my mind, my every word from out my lungs My every breath and every thought, take every word I've ever sung Although I'm glad to help you out and get your feet back on the ground Please understand I'm just a man; you understand? I'm just a man And I feel helpless when I stumble and my anxiety escapes I lose all hope, and I'm afraid that once again I've lost my place I give it all, and when I fall I get up and give some more Until there's nothing left of me Just some bones stacked on the floor But every song's a two-way street: I give to you, you give to me And as long as that remains, I will still haul my heavy feet Because you're all worth every word, and, yeah, you're all here in my heart And I know we can sing together to avoid falling apart I give it all, and when I fall I get up and give some more Until there's nothing left of me Just some bones stacked on the floor I give it all, and when I fall I get up and give some more Until there's nothing left of me Just some bones stacked on the floor At the end of everything This is for you, this is for me Your fight to overcome defeat Has set the skies alight for me I give it all, and when I fall I get up and give some more Until there's nothing left of me Just some bones stacked on the floor I give it all, and when I fall I get up and give some more Until there's nothing left of me Just some bones stacked on the floor I give it all, and when I fall I get up and give some more Until there's nothing left of me Just some bones stacked on the floor I give it all, and when I fall I get up and give some more Until there's nothing left of me Just some bones stacked on the floor
