The How King Crimson works meme was actually more used before Part 5 anime came out because it was 100 times more confusing in the manga (especially with that shitty english translation, and it's also inpossible to show that stand's ability with manga panels) but the anime made it way more clear. Thing about D4C is that there are like 3 completely different ways it works which makes it not only confusing af but also pretty inconsistent with how it worked before.
