The Amazing Science of Piercing & Jewelry in Hinduism

Why is Indian/Hindu culture so full of BLING? Body jewelry is not just a fashion trend, but can be traced back to the ancient Ayurvedic study of the human body! Piercings and jewellery can be used to awaken and unlock energy centers in the body, called nadi and marma points, and even go so far as relieving pain and disease!
Sanatana Hindu Dharma is such an intricate and beautiful science and lifestyle, which I have been so blessed to be a part of living here in Nithyananda Aadheenam right outside of Bangalore, India.
Here's a few good sources you can check out! www.sanskritimagazine.com/ritu...

As a black woman, I just want to say that you are a beautiful example of the difference between cultural appropriation and cultural APPRECIATION. You are not claiming this part of culture as something you came up with or devaluing it as simply a trend, but are educated on the meaning and significance behind it. So many people can learn from you. Thank you for this lovely video. ❤️

Heyy I found your video because I was looking into the knowledge about nose hoops. I am a deeply spiritual person and I pay respect to all culture and walks of life. I felt pulled to getting my nose pierced with a hoop on my left side to wear with a chain someday and I didn’t know why but I followed my intuition and got it in august.

Very informative, I admire your enthusiasm and energy!I love Ayurvedic medicine, it is very complex and interesting. I am planning to get an iron bracelet (kara) for myself, tho considering a copper one instead, or perhaps both... mebbe copper on my left arm since both copper and left side are considered feminine aspect? I have read that copper is a very good metal for health and energy , do you have any facts about these metals? Or about metal armbands for men? There is a ton of stuff regarding rings and gems too, but I prob need to get my birth chart done to find what suits me there. Just got a simple band on my pointer finger, think that's Jupiter. It does seem to help with confidence and attracting opportunities. Its weird but I can actually feel a small energy/aura change when I put the ring on different fingers.... that reminds me of the hand positions/mudras as well, those if done right can feel energy changes as well. Would be cool to see a video on mudras! I'm hoping to make a trip out to India this year to see the Ellora cave and Golden temple, but if I get time these ashrams like Nithyanadam or that aurovil place. Seems like you all got the right vibe goin on there. Anyways, keep up the good work!

Sharmishtha Ch These piercing should be done by Guru at specific periods (age wise) and certain astroligucal significant times. Random piercings will not do. The science is mainly lost now unfortunately.

Women's cycles are not always smooth sailing. Your cure could be anything from a diet change to heredity. Go to a health food shop/doctor. Magnesium is good for cramps. So is evening primrose oil tablets. I would feel self conscious with a nose piercing. But they do look dainty.

Not exactly - it matters what the watch is made out of and it’s movement on the wrist
