It hasn't happened often, but I don't like it when either there is not an official Starting Line or the Starting Line is outside The United States. Part of the fun of the 1st Episode is seeing how teams get to the airport to fight over the best flight then the dynamics that result in them trying to improve their standing in the 1st Leg to avoid that 1st Elimination. When all of the teams start out on equal footing at the very beginning that isn't as much fun to watch.

I think it was a COVID-only issue, as Season 35 (which was filmed after this season) indicates. I think we can be hopeful for starting lines within the USA for Season 37 onwards - and let us hope for longer legs and 90 minute episodes too! And diverse casts like this one and Season 35 (love seeing more people over 40 and 50! How about some over 60s too!)

I agree but you have to take into account that this was filmed during the pandemic and before season 35 so that's why they are kind of more restricted.

Exactly. Hopefully this experiment they won't try again .Ricky and Cesar Knows how the game works cleaning because the show has been on for many years. Those guys are intelligent on top of that they got a 15 to 45-minute Head Start. Come on there's no beating them.

I can’t believe that Maya and Rohan pulled an Austin Powers and decided to turn their car around in that tight space. They wasted so much time when all they needed to do was back out.

Hence why they didn’t last. They didn’t even get to the first clue box until an hour into the episode!

This Amazing Race would go down as the worst and most predicted series of all time (at least Family version is equal): a) no u-turn b) put 2 gay strong Hispanic on a Latin American leg c) give the Hispanic gays an edge by putting them ahead each leg d) make sure all the challenges fit their strong suits d) basically handling them the reward each leg

Filming for this season began on October 25, 2022.

I filmed them filming in Canada today by total happenstance, I won't say where but I will be publishing a video in the next week.

Best beaches in the world I think not. I live here one block from the beach.

We'll see how this turns out, but tbh my expectations are lower than usual for a US season. Especially for any leg past Chile, which is when the rumored production issues happened. TAR24 had to substitute a large portion of its Asian legs on the fly, and we saw it in the quality of the tasks.

Barbados and the Dominican Republic were always planned legs - Phil confirms it by saying it at the starting line in Puerto Vallarta. I think Chile, Argentina and Uruguay were switched in when the larger plane they were going to use to take them to South Africa (or Australia?) didn't happen. I am still hopeful for a good season.

We loved interviewing most of the new teams!

Is it just me?... I haven't enjoyed the last two seasons. No compelling challenges, teams, or eliminations. Still a fan, but waiting to be excited like I was in the past. Phil is still amazing.

Season 34 had non elimination legs as well , no free passes except for when Abby and Will were eliminated due to testing positive for Covid the powers that be improvised.

This Amazing Race season was something new.Phil, mention in the recap of the final episode that team Cesar and Ricky winning six legs and never place it lower than second is in the final 4 , of course they are going to be in the final ! they had 30 to 45 minutes head start.That could have been done so many seasons ago if the contestants didn't have to: buy any flights tickets.Didn't have to wait to board the plane, bus,train ect. They didn't' have to wait for businesses to open . And once again on top of that the first two teams have a 45 minute Head Start .NO U turn NO blind U turn of course one team is going to dominate which is Cesar and Ricky. out of 36 Seasons I must have watched at least 33 seasons and by fall this is my least favorite season matter of fact this season was so predictable that i wish the lottery was this easy. if this is how it's going to now this is the the end for Amazing Race. this season by Fall is the worst and is no fault of the contestants I also need to send. I also think it's VERY unfair to run the race in countries where their language is Spanish and then have contestants whose native tongue is Spanish. They have an automatic leg up on the contestants that don't speak Spanish and it shows in who keeps coming in first!

The dating nurses drive me crazy he is to controlling and she I complains to much…

AR26 will go down as one of the worst season. 2 Hispanic males on all Latin American countries is really predictable.

My stepfather was a Fire Chief and I've NEVER seen two more hapless, firefighters then the two on this season! Pathetic!

An absolute crock of shit this version, the first 2 episodes involved push a wooden horse ,carry some balloons , face painting, and some other child like task and that is it, it’s like a kids show, now the Australian version would be climb a mountain, do some stunt work, do some extreme bungie etc etc etc. The American version is the worst of all versions of this show nowadays, bore off.

😭 I think they split leg 1 into 2 episodes because of a time window, there was a hurricane in PV before they arrived and that might have delayed a really good second leg idk but hoping the challenges get better.

I agree, this season ain't giving at all😢

I guess if you're in an all-white straight couple, your chances of going to this show are slim to none nowadays. Sure, I'd rather watch these people, than Boston Rob or some other obnoxious "star" for the millionth time. But I wasn't expecting to be disappointed by episode 6. It seems like a poor copy of what this show used to be. I liked the Canadian version a lot better. Just like Survivor has become a show for quitters and annoying people, while the Australian version is so much better.

Worst season ever. Very hard to watch, non-stop ''Oh, my God'' been screeched out throughout this season, mainly by the winning team, which made it very annoying and cringe.

Do they always now have to put in these fruit loops? Society has gone into the dark ages of morality!! Incredible
