We love these recaps! For years we wondered what was happening "behind the scenes" at TAR and thanks to you and London, Chase and others we finally have some fun insights. Please keep it up! Quick question: How much of a toll does the race take on you physically and mentally? We have so much respect for you!

Really enjoy these recaps. Would love to hear more of the being the scenes. The Pitstops used to be more eat sleep and mingle so was surprised to hear that you weren't supposed to talk to each other. It is also interesting to hear things like the line up fiasco and how it really went down. Thanks for taking the time.

I was so anxious watching the last episode (especially the passport incident, rooting for TeamFun), which is partly why I am satisfied with just watching the Amazing Race rather than hoping to be in it because I cannot imagine the stress and panic you can experience on it. Floyd mentioned Tanzania was where he truly felt the severity of the competition. Were your emotions already high before the race started? What was that week before the race like?

Yeah my name sucks. I was wondering what you thought about the U-Turn being before the detour instead of after it? Personally I think you earn the right to use the U-Turn by completing a detour first and it should not be awarded to the first team to arrive.

You're taking this too seriously, bud, calm down. She didn't do anything. Becca is just human and they were strangers back then. You would also get crazy angry if you thought a stranger screwed you out of a chance at a million dollars for doing something dumb.

Maarten van der Steen Can't blame her at least getting upset, a lost passport is the worst thing that can happen to a team. If not found, you'd have to go through the whole embassy process to get home. The only lucky ones I remember were the Vegas showgirls in season 19

+An Actual Dinosaur How does being strangers make a difference? So if they were married it would be wrong, but now it's ok? And her anger being understandable doesn't make her actions right. She shows no remorse for first threatening violence and then again jokingly threatening him when they are on the mat. I'll say it very simply: If the genders were reversed everyone would be crying out about it. The only way everyone just shrugs and says its no big deal is because she's a girl.

I completely agree with you, Martin. Even though Ffloyd has forgiven her and the two of them have put that behind them, we need to have discussions about violence in close relationships in any public forum. Because is not apologetic about it because she learned that reaction behavior from growing up with brothers. We talk a lot about parent /child violence and male/ female violence, but we really need to open our eyes to how we normalize sibling violence. I think the stresses of TAR bring out the deeply held responses of the contestants. I think the TAR fans are the kind of excited, curious, adventurous people who could be willing to look at the roots of violence in ourselves, because we are the kind of people who would like to see less violence in this amazing world.
