Sometimes with new modifications, the best thing is to keep it cool. Let the enthusiasts deal with all drawbacks that comes with industrial breeding and fix them. Then buy a few generations later. Benefits can possible be many if from a source that know what to do. Same fish but 10 times the life span, and most likely for a cheaper price 😉 I always say, don't buy commercial, find your animals from a source that dedicates time and effort to the hobby. Thanks alot for your input❤

This looks exactly my Tuxedo platy x Red velvet sword cross minus the lyre/7sword.
Awesome video! Can you tell me where to buy these or how to breed them by mixing which strains? I have multiple swordtails, this one looks like my lyre tail high fin blood red swordtail mixed with some kind of black one?

The name of the strain is Alpha Red.

Strain originated in Germany 30+ years ago. Mongolian breeders came up with lyretail red alphas. This male is sterile. King lyretails will breed The one growing a sword is not a sex changing female but rather a late maturing male,which should be used to maintain strain size You need to breed red alphas with red ruby strain to get consistent fish every generation.
