It involves scripting which is accessed through the script menu, it is complicated to explain, so if you can stick to basic tools that would be better, but if you want just use a tool pack off Algobox :)

Go to www.Algodoo.com, then there should be a tab at the top that says "Algobox" When you're there find "Search" My Algobox account is MarbleRaced, and I have plenty of tool packs, feel free to use them :) There are plenty of others, just find one that you like. Hope I helped :)

I am seriously wonder what is the whole so-called "marble race" thing. Are they created by some random algorithm? Is it a programming competition? Or is it just some kids play of random colors? My 5 year old is very interested in watching it but I honestly don't see any reason why.
