I think that this is one of the best remixes I've heard so far. I think the only thing that stops it from reaching the level of the original is that the final fanfare is missing. It needs that grand build-up with that slight pause before the grand finale to really hammer home the remainder.

This theme resonates with me a lot. I am a disabled veteran of USMC and I’ve been out for a year. My disability was an accident not combat. I wanted to do 40 years but my injury shortened it to 4 years. At first I thought it gonna be simple as “enjoy my freedom” but one night at an empty park. On the swing set I went internal and realized that it wasn’t gonna be that simple. My life will never be the same and the only people that understand me were the Marines back in the Corps. I miss them, they were my real family. But nothing much I can do expect mask it and act normal. Smile and wave. But I want to go back, but just like theme of this song. Civilian life is “Your new home.”
